They are absolutely great for a myriad of tasks, but they are overkill for drilling holes in miniatures. This head, however, is larger than most Pin Vise heads and does get in the way a bit of you are drilling areas where other parts of the model it in the way.

I would defiantly recommend this over the Dremel 8200 I really don’t see the point in the 8200 anymore. Perfect for making container candles, these handy wick assemblies will allow you to cut out some of the fuss of preparing your wick. The handle is the part which rests in your palm and allows you to hold the PinVise steady as you spin the rest to drill a hole. The Bosch comes with a 3 year warranty and in my experience, they are very good about sorting any problems you may have. The Chuck is the part you tighten to grip your drill bits, You can get get a hand drill with a more traditional chuck like you see on normal drills which is entirely variable in size.Apply with a brush over a layer of matt white or a light colour to easily achieve realistic shadows in a single application of Dipping. The casing feels tough enough (typical Bosch) but its the slight increase in size rather than any weight consideration that causes me to think about how I tackle a task. great set of drill bits This set of craft drill bits is perfect, great value and a wonderful selection of small drill bits for my miniature drill.
