About this deal

Aiwa thinks there’s a niche for consumers looking for a large speaker that can play loudly in the home and on the go. I just moved recently, in a place that’s even smaller than before, and it is interesting to note that even before, when I lived in the larger location, I still couldn’t take proper photos of the unboxing of EXOS9. The bass is extremely punchy and hits deep in your stomach, with the roll off happening somewhere at 40Hz, so there will be enough depth to go by. The midrange is clearly not a central point to the sound, as it doesn’t have the texture, or detail that you’ll probably want from a speaker, but it pairs beautifully with the bass, and provides a loud, clear, and hard-hitting overall experience. I've had an Aiwa Exos-9 for a few years and it's been great so far, but there are some select use cases where I've been disappointed with the max volume, such as outdoor parties or loud, crowded indoor spaces.

We create products that deliver legendary sound quality; we bring you the music you love, the way it was meant to be heard. The Exos-9 arrives pre-installed with compression software to level out the peaks and "protect the drivers". Since the Exos-9 is the product that pulled Aiwa from the ashes, maybe they should have named it “The Phoenix” instead. g. if you book a rental for on Monday evening for Wednesday morning), then this cooling-off period does not apply.I have owned a selection of portable speakers in the past even a large PA party unit and none came even close to what the EXOS 9 sounds like!

This would definitely improve the sound of the Aiwa Exos 9 without needing to add your own mid-side processing via the use of DSP. Relevant for a number of years now, offering a fairly affordable solution to those needing big sound out of their Bluetooth speaker. Unfortunately, the buttons are all you've got - there is no smartphone app to control the speaker, which makes it feel positively ancient in an age where our wireless headphones receive regular firmware updates over Bluetooth. subwoofer sitting flush in the center while supported with midrange woofers and dedicated tweeters on either side.I purchased another one that was delivered the day I purchased this one but I forgot to log into my account. If you want a little solution to add some music to your home, one that will sound sweet, detailed and delicate, Music Cast 20 is still highly recommended, while if you want a larger, heavier speaker that will create a real party and make everyone jump, EXOS 9 should really do the job. Auxillary input, USB Type-A Port to charge your device(s), and a Micro USB port for software/firmware updates. and supports aptx, aac and sbc codecs, it is also future proof thanks to it's mini USB for future firmware updates.

When it comes to the design of the Aiwa Exos 9, we haven’t come across anything quite like it before. With that out of the way the "new" Aiwa may be far from what the Aiwa we all knew was (at least in terms of size and available products) but if they continue to design, manufacture and release products like the EXOS-9 their future seems quite bright. This will come in really handy if you’ll be holding a party, as a somewhat V-Shaped sound will be the most enjoyable one for a party.

And you also have a Save function where the Subwoofer output is vastly reduced, so it prolongs battery life. JBL Partybox 100 - Cheaper and smaller than the Partybox 310 while still reaching the same dB levels. You get big sound in a big package that you can take with you, since it sports a battery that lasts up to 9 hours.Due to the fact that we’re using a Windows laptop, when you pair a Bluetooth device, the device shows up like a DAC in Windows. The design is almost reminiscent of a boombox-style horizontally focused speaker but without the typical configuration of a primary left and right-sided driver placement.
