About this deal

Dari sini, masih banyak pengalaman Floss, terutama dengan teman-teman sekolahnya, dan juga soal pekerjaan ayahnya. She often gives Charlie advice, and once made Rhiannon have a day out with Floss, meaning that Floss had to cancel her playdate with Susan. Rhiannon's posh and snobby mother assumes that Charlie is an unfit father and repeatedly tries to lecture him and pamper Floss believing she is living in an unclean dump. Later, Susan, along with her parents, goes to stay in her holiday home in France and says farewell to Floss at the beginning of summer.

It was one of the uplifting and enaging books of Jacqueline wilson and totally had me ennthralled into it. Its a lovely nightime read, and athough it wasn’t my favourite Jacqueline Wilson book Floss carried on dreaming in my head for many more nights! Flora "Floss" Barnes' mother Sally and father Charlie split up when she was little and she wishes they'd get back together because she doesn't like her stepfather, Steve, and her little half-brother Tiger. the dad is not very good at ironing or putting up swings but they live on a diet of chip butties and candyfloss from the local funfair. Today her popular books for children have sold millions of copies and have been translated into more than thirty languages. After losing the cafe and the flat, Billy the chip mentions he is to Australia to visit his son for one month and needs Floss and her father to live in his house while Charlie works in his chip van. i love this book, i love the way she is so kind and gives her brother ‘tiger’ hr birthday kangroos, i HATE that her mum goes and leaves her with her dad but i love that she stays with her dad and i think her dad and rose will get married and I LOVE thatshe gets her hair pink at the end!

k.a floss/flossie, whose mum moves to oz for 6 months with a new partener while floss stays with her dad in the cafe, charlies cafe. In 2007 Jacky Daydream was published, an inspirational true story of how a shy schoolgirl became a superstar author. Mum has a new partner and a baby but Dad still lives in the dingy flat above the café where he serves the best chip butties in the world.good book jacky i liked lucky i think she really is lucky i am loving these books for my project i done a Jacqueline Wilson one with Queenie and Elsie on great book jacky! Jacqueline Wilson was born in Bath in 1945, and spent her childhood in Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey, where she still lives today. her mum is moving to australia with her new husband steve but floss decides to stay at home with her dad in his greasy spoon cafe.

Floss is a girl, who is kind, playful, loving, caring, and she has soo many good qualities that I can't even name. He is only mentioned once in the book, when he drops Susan round at Charlie's house for a playdate with Floss. This was a Christmas present and as far as I can say is that I would recommend this book to readers 9‐12. He's to tiny to sing but he made a loud he-he-he noise, sitting up on his padded bottom and clapping his hands. Floss bisa punya rumah dan keluarga komplit, si suami baru ibunya punya pekerjaan bagus dan sayang juga ke dia. Let me just preface this review by saying that at the ripe age of 74, Jacqueline Wilson came out as gay.

I also felt sorry for her dad as everything seemed to have gone wrong for him, though seemed to be picking up towards the end.

My one gripe (which doesn't affect my rating) is that my copy of this was published in America, and they have changed MUM to MOM. Making the difficult decision to stay at home, Floss moves in permanently with her dad and they muddle along happily together, surviving on chip butties and enjoying visits to the local funfair.
