Also, the hair dye doesn't come with gloves to dye with but luckily I had a box of latex gloves in the cupboard. I had to use a little bleach in my hands to wash off the colour as my hands at stained purple a little.

You MUST wear gloves though and use vaseline as a barrier at your hairline, I didn't do either and got into a right mess with it, had to go out to get nail varnish remover as it was not budging off my hands, 'completely' my own fault, it was common sense it was going to dye my skin, I'm too impatient.
