The petroleum note from Fahrenheit OG is absent to my nose and FP takes on a Gourmand essence with rich almost dessert like wedding cake vanilla. On my skin, it's a bomb of vanilla and booze with a tiny bit of cumin in the far background giving it a little sharpness. The different colors of mandarin, yellow, green and red, correspond to the different stages of ripeness.As time passes, the mandarin moves towards the back while the suede, violet leaf, and vanilla grow to take the fragrance's lead. I'm shocked how amazing it is, i don't know why but it just made me emotional, and Im not a big fan of the original. After reading some of these misleading reviews, I didn't expect much of the original Farenheit DNA, but after a few wearings I realized just how many of the reviews here are full of S**t.

A lot of fragrances definitely have a more mature smell about them, but it's hard to tell sometimes if you just have that association built in your mind through the the experiences in your life or they really just represent that sort of archetype. Honestly i dont know which age range could pull this off, i dont see it being a teens fragrance, but i do feel like any one over 20 to all ages above could pull this off. Once Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum has reached its full dry down, it can be summarized as a strong projection, sweet vanilla, suede, boozy rum, ozonic violet leaf, spicy licorice, coriander, and cumin fragrance.

This fragrance is the embodiment of virility and sophistication, and it's perfect for those who appreciate intense and long-lasting scents. It is a very sparkly and fizzly fragrance in the first hour; slightly resemblance to the original Fahrenheit edt and Fahrenheit Absolute in the middle, bu HUGE resemblance in all stages of it's development with Jaques Fath pour l'homme, 1998 version.A boozy vanilla that, on top, is very sensual, fresh, ozonic and sweet, but, as it dries down, it become more creamy, static, vanilla driven and with an suede aftertaste. This is the best manly scent there is IMO takes the original my father used to wear back in the late 80s and 90s and adds jussssst enough vanilla and aquatic notes to make it truly something special! The biggest (and most controversial) change to the Fahrenheit DNA is the addition of rum and vanilla. I guess my skin type (wich have no problem with anything else in my collection) is some what strange.

I'm a sucker for fragrances that are made for and compliment strong, masculine, confident males (Argos Triumph of Bacchus, Terre D'Hermes EDT, Dior Homme Sport 2021, Dior Homme Parfum). Both are out in force here – the opening smells almost like sniffing a bottle of rum at a gas station while wearing a suede jacket, and a vague booziness lingers throughout the life of the fragrance. The fragrance dons a vibrant and sensual accord, featuring violet and leather accents enhanced with Bourbon vanilla absolute.Sweet, floral, velvety, violet, spicy, leathery, woody, expensive old rum note with hints of powder and green notes. Full disclosure, I am very rarely a fan of powdery notes in anything, so you may have a better experience with it if you are. If you are a rum lover I think you would definitely appreciate this, as the vanilla and rum together really mixes well and gives the whole fragrance the same feeling as when you're taking a sip of fine rum.
