Overall I think it could have played up that side of things more and it would have added to the storyline hugely. When he rapes her multiple times but it’s ‘justified’ because he kills pedophiles and sex traffickers for a living?Stalked - he even sexually assaults her without her consent multiple times, telling her she'll get on the same page as him eventually and want it. I can't believe people are coming for you for not liking a book because it contains SA, i never understood non con because to me it's just a rape trope there's no way around it . Yes, there's triggers, we get it, but everyone can make their own decision on whether to read it or not and people seem extremely focused on that for a book that's been pretty open about the fact that this is not one for the faint of heart.
