About this deal

So it can tackle the likes of frying, baking and roasting, but also has the ability to bake and dehydrate, amongst other everyday cooking tasks.

Plus it is easy to clean and offers 10 auto programmes that include pizza, rotisserie and dehydrating, to help make mealtime as stress-free as possible. The question should be, are there healthier cooking options other than the air fryer way of cooking.

I like the simple dial allowing me to adjust time and temperature settings, from an accurate 49℃ to 205℃. Some of my favourite things to make in it so far are paprika potato wedges, and mozzarella chicken wraps, perfect for work from home lunches or stress-free teas. Firstly, it goes without saying that an air fryer is a bulky piece of kit, taking over a chunk of your kitchen space. For this review, as part of our commitment to how we test products that we recommendat Ideal Home, Qin spent a couple of days trying out different recipes, including new and old favourites.

Simply turn the dials to set the temperature and cooking time, then close the handle for perfect results every time. I'm 'assuming' this Gourmet oven is highly energy efficient ( as the Consari Air fryers are) but I can't find any confirmation of this. At an event where, say, we’re cooking 200 portions of beef but there are two people who have requested salmon, I can air fry two salmon cutlets within eight minutes, so it’s perfect. Packed with extra power, this air fryer can cook 30% faster than a conventional oven, cooking a 1kg chicken in 40mins.The Salter's double drawers have a great capacity, so a meal for one is accommodated very easily, with plenty of room for the hot air to move around. As its all-encompassing title suggests, this appliance can cook a wide range of food in a variety of ways, but all within the space of one appliance. With heating elements at the top and bottom, drawing 1,800 Watts, the Cuisinart can be used as a giant toaster. g: to cook Chicken, you press the ‘Chicken’ on the screen and it auto sets the ideal Temp, and Time (this can be adjusted). This is a kitchen appliance that lets you cook all sorts of dishes using one of ten automatic programmes, or can be manually controlled if preferred.

Our final Ninja recommendation was the most expensive one we tried, but this impressive gadget is what would happen if you combined an air fryer and a maxi-sized George Foreman grill. Given the rotisserie function is this air fryer’s star feature, I decided to test this element out first. I’ve also managed to cook meat and vegetables in half the time it takes my oven, though there are definitely some vegetables to avoid: broccoli, which turns ashy and spinach, which turns into a smattering of veg crisps. The drawer pulls out a little swiftly, so you’ll need to be mindful when taking food out, but I can tell the design is made from quality materials and built to last. Cakes come out well, but you do need to keep an eye on them since all the settings are inaccurate by a fraction.Even then I had to bind the chicken to make sure the wings and legs stayed in place and the whole body was slim enough to rotate. It meant that I had to spend quite a bit of time wriggling the two boxes free to remove the air fryer. If you want a large capacity air fryer that can work at faster speeds, we'd recommend the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone air fryer, which is unbelievably convenient to use. The 12L Fryer is the perfect all-in-one cooking appliance for busy families that don't want to compromise on food quality because of a hectic lifestyle. I like the convenient pre-set mode that makes it easy to blast the air fryer with heat for a few minutes before loading food.
