About this deal

IT SMELLS LIKE A PUNGENT SPICY CHEMICAL OVERLOAD THAT SHOULD BE LABELED AS A HAZARD TO YOUR SINUSES. Different packaging is designed for each type of fragrance and is very unique, elegant, and immaculate.

Anyway this is just a first impression review and maybe i'm the only one who finds these similarities with the Zara perfume! It's virtually indistinguishable in the air, and I'm giving it a thumbs up for being such a convincing dupe of the original fragrance. Unless I am being fooled by Bulgarian rose (which is not in the official scent pyramid) or something, I am pretty sure it's jasmine. I have ready, and better, alternatives to the other four fragrances I own that help make up the collection. The only thing good I could say about this perfume is the silage and longevity is very good, one spray can fill up the whole room.I just open my bottle, and after that first spritz I came to say why all the controversy about this PERFUME?

I'm about to make a second purchase of this (I have some anxiety about some of my fav frags getting sneakily discontinued - dammit! An alluring blend of sophistication with prestige, La Yuqawam for Men offers a leading top note of Thyme with Saffron and Rasberry, which goes down to Oliban, Davana and Jasmine touch in the middle and ends with a Leather, Black Suede, Wood and Amber tinge. Oud Ispahan blends sweet, fresh rose with soft oud notes to make for a truly warm and welcoming scent. Gorgeous white florals blended perfectly with luscious fruits over a base of warm amber and creamy vanilla.Everybody is talking about the fruitiness of this scent, saying how jasmine/white flowers are lost somewhere, but for me the fruitiness is just like the outer rim of the scent bubble (maybe more what others can smell on you when you're wearing it), but the jasmine-tonka (that GG vibe) for me are very prominent and more dominant to my nose. Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application.

They also mention that the leather and raspberry work well together, and are formal and seriously seductive. I don't know exactly how they get to this leather but I suspect it has saffron, maybe ambrette in there somewhere, possibly tobacco oil too. La Yuqawam blends a classic style with a modern style, creating an utterly irresistible combination of real luxury and timelessness.

I guess the smell is suede more than a hard polished leather, and so Luqawam pour Homme has a very bold leathery but suede aroma as opposed to the very light suede leather fragrances on the market (Suedois, Cuiron). Whereby - sometimes something raspberryy comes through, but as if it had been candied - but this raspberry is very reserved. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. On the first spray I get a citrus-like blast which is a little sharp and I'm not mad about that, which calms down and settles into a creamy, coconut hug.
