About this deal
I had a canon SL1 but never could conquer the menu, so sold it and stayed with Nikon, I just love using this little gem!
This is supported by 11 AF points, a 3in LCD screen with a 921k-dot resolution, and a range of Picture Controls that let you switch between different color options and styles to suit whatever it is you're shooting.megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor that has been designed without an optical low-pass filter (OLPF) to capture maximum image detail. For that premium, you get one of the highest resolution APS-C sensors on the market, a very good 1080/60p video spec, and exceptional battery life among other things. the average score jumps to 2,422 lines with most of the frame (including the edges) approaching 2,200 lines.
A camera defect rotated my panoramas 90º, so I had to rotate these back to what you see here in Media Pro, the software I use for lossless rotations. You can even plug a stereo microphone into the camera if you want to improve on audio quality when recording videos, which is surprising to find on such an affordable body. While I cover all the more expensive Nikons which are of interest to hard-core photographers, when my normal friends ask what camera to get, it's always this inexpensive D3300. Fill-flash exposures indoors at night give the usual black backgrounds with little ambient light and overpowering flash, as expected.
Some shots are so easy to miss but with the high-speed superior accuracy of the 11-point AF system the D3300 delivers razor sharp images by maintaining focus on even the smallest subjec The " I must have the latest gear" brigade must be throwing out their G6s in droves because its a bit long in the tooth after reading this.At f/8 performance is more even across the frame, with an average score of 2,949 lines and edges that top 2,700 lines.
