Enter the three words that are displayed in the Ninja's CONNECT menu after pressing the “Pair” button. Teamed with a 1TB AtomX SSDmini you can now achieve up to 150 minutes of 4K recording on a single drive! Being a dedicated monitor the Shinobi offers a good range of features that help you focus and expose your shots. Record 8K30 or DCI/UHD 4K ProRes raw at rates up to 120 fps, including 24 and 25 fps for a more filmlike experience.

Choose “Clean” to record a clean feed of the currently switched to input or use the new “CAST Program” mode.Any photographer knows the pain of squinting at the tiny screen on the back of your camera hoping to achieve the best focus and exposure. Behind the stunning screen, Ninja V’s massive advanced computing power adds production grade recording to your camera. This is one area where the Shinobi does a much better job than the Ninja V and could be a big deciding factor on your purchasing decision. The Atomos Ninja V has a 5-inch LCD screen illuminated by a bright 1000 cd/m² backlight, making it possible to view your images in daylight without the need for a lens hood. The Atomos Ninja V+ features a robust aluminum chassis which can be powered from a single Sont type L-series battery.

Powered by a unique combination of AtomOS 11 and Atomos Cloud Studio, you can share with the person standing next to you or someone across the globe just as easily.

You can monitor what’s happening on-set and look through any connected camera taking the shot, from anywhere in the world. The Shinobi is not supplied with either of these although the one supplied with the Ninja does also work with the Shinobi and can be purchased separately.

The unique AtomHDR engine processes the incoming Log/RAW/HDR signals from your camera or device and displays in all its HDR glory on the Ninja V screen. Capturing Apple ProRes RAW video with the Ninja V over HDMI unlocks complete control of the video image at the highest quality possible.
