About this deal

It’s a long film so having a brief intermission to swap discs half way is likely a welcome respite for some viewers bladders. The 3D Fusion Camera – Explore the newly designed 3D Fusion camera system which enabled the filmmakers to create an immersive stereographic experience. Interestingly (well, you know, relatively interestingly), I've seen loads of people praising the VFR (or rather, the HFR within the VFR - no one that I'm aware of has praised the VFR) - but no one praising the fact that they were able to watch the film in 2. Pandoran jungles and floating mountains benefit from the added dimensionality, but it's the underwater sequences that really deliver, immersing you in coral reefs, shafts of sunlight and shoals of fish. Yes, you can watch the movie on a flat screen too, but the immersion you get from 3D is something special.

While we wait for the news about the Somnium VR1, you don’t need to wait if you want a good VR headset to watch Avatar: The Way of the Water. You’ll find higher resolutions in other headsets, but they are either for professional use or not considered as a mainstream solution. It contains all the technical details of the Ultra HD Blu-ray format and confirms everything that was said at CES. There’s also a 2D disc (the whole film is on the single disc) and a bonus disc with some excellent mini documentaries on the making of the film, which I’m currently watching and is giving me a deeper love for the world crafting and final result Cameron and the filmmakers achieved. This film is much longer than the original film and where that only had a couple of soundtrack options, this has many more and offering 7.It got to the point where, when I toddled along to my local Odeon to watch the latest Avatar, the staff weren’t entirely set up for the 3D part of the showing. For example, the airborne spear-chucking moments are extremely satisfying and will have you speculating on why the sky people didn’t install better shatter-proof windscreens. In general, the focus on the younger characters just about works, though it might have been a mistake not to give any of them a romantic interest.

I say either do 3-D or don’t do 3-D, but don’t try to slap it on afterward to get the up-charge on the ticket.En fin una película muy recomendable, otra obra maestra más de James Cameron y un producto que debe de ser editado en Blu-ray 3D YA en nuestro país en Castellano. mix a trial I thought it was alright, it worked well enough for key sequences, but then I spun this 3-D Blu-ray’s 7. That's is "maybe" 10% percent of a movie and as such make no difference to the level of detail seen in the remaining 90%.
