Show more Show less Somewhere, hidden amongst thorny brambles is a little kingdom of elves and fairies. Since I generally live in fear of taking my 3 year old in the car for more than 10 minutes, I planned ahead, bought a portable dvd player, packed our bags and headed towards the M1 with six hours of Ben and Holly to keep us company.

The DVD contains ten episodes, each of which lasts ten minutes : The Elf Factory – Ben’s Birthday Card – Books – Betty Caterpillar – Queen Holly – The Woodpecker – The Elf Band – The Ant Hill – Redbeard the Elf Pirate – The Tooth Fairy. Oh yes I did believe in the tooth fairy, and I imagined her to live in a very small house which was made of teeth, and sit on chairs made of teeth – all the cleanest brightest teeth were used, after they’d been cleaned and polished. Young fairy princess Holly and her best friend, Ben the Elf, live in the Little Kingdom, a tiny land where flowers and grass rise above the tallest towers.

Isabelle has just started to pay attention to other children’s TV shows other than her usual beloved Mickey Mouse. Isabelle loved watching Ben and Holly, we allowed her to watch one episode before bed each night as she tends to get a bit restless when watching TV. You also have the choice of a magic shuffle and as there are so many episodes on a disc, you can play it over and over again.

I particualy got this for our DVD player in the car as had a 4 hour car journey and it worked a treat. However, seller responded quickly and professionally and apologised for this inconvenience and issued a refund and said I could keep the item.So I asked my daughter and she says she looks like a beautiful fairy and has a wand and wings and wears a pretty pink dress.
