About this deal

Another technique would be to sprinkle your Brusho pigment powder onto dry paper then with a wet brush paint over your powder to create your painting. Because the pigment powder is so fine, some artists may wear a mask, especially if they suffer from respiratory problems. It's fun to use, beginner-friendly and ideal if you want to learn how to create very contemporary, very striking images to hang on your wall or even sell!

Many old paintings by famous artists have changed colour because of the permanence (or otherwise) of the colours used. This Brusho Paint Crystals Set contains 12 x 15g pots of incredibly pigmented and versatile watercolour ink powder in assorted colours. I painted one series entitled ‘Messing about in Boats’ which gave me a chance to use brusho as watercolour paint to create the form of the boat as well as let the free spirited powder work its own magic on the water. The fourth method is the one which gives you the most control because it is simply turning the powder into liquid paint. Available in 15g and 50g tubs, this versatile and intense paint powder can be applied to a variety of mediums including: watercolour, mixing with acrylics, simple sprinkling techniques and even wood staining!

Cass Art, Cass Art London and the Cass Art logo are trade marks and trade names of Art-Line Limited. We also recommend some watercolour brushes to wet the paper and paint with BRUSHO and a misting bottle for creating dappling, running and bleeding effects. The colours will dissolve into each other beautifully and for the extra texture apply the powder over the damp paper.Colourcraft Colours and Adhesives LTD did not ask me to review them, or any other company for that matter, or even knew that I planned to do so. When diluting the pigments into inks use warm water and this will allow the powder to dissolve and disperse fully. I used waterbrushes throughout for ease of cleaning, and because I’m leery about using my watercolor brushes with inks. Ideal for card making, stencilling, scrap booking, water colour painting, design work, decorative effects on fabric e. Below is a list of the extensive range of vibrant colours which are fully intermixable with each other.

But note that *many* colours (oil, watercolour, acrylic, gouache) are dye-based and this is not sufficient to decide whether they are “of no use to professional artists creating original fine artworks”. Spritz water on to water colour paper – sprinkle Brusho® Crystal Colour on to the paper and it bursts in to colour. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Blue, Ultramarine, Prussian Blue, Turquoise, Leaf Green, Emerald Green, Sea Green, Violet, Purple, Light Brown, Dark Brown, Grey, Black and White.Due to the nature of the product, the results are unpredictable and allow the artist to produce unique art works every time. To make Brusho inks, all you need are some small 100ml spray bottles in which to decant a small amount of your pigment powder. Use a little atomiser/spray bottle to spritz a little water over the sprinkled Brusho powder and watch it leap to life.
