Ideal for travel, this innovative Microsoft foldable keyboard features a universal design that can pair with 2 devices simultaneously, including iPad, iPhone, Android devices, Windows tablets and Windows phone. Treated myself to this little keyboard after wondering if such a thing existed and finding that they do.

The keyboard is an excellent alternative to typing on mobile devices, and has BT connection for 3 devices. That’s a big plus, as you don’t have to retrain your fingers to find and press the different-sized keys found on keyboards with straight hinges.

The steps come from Ted in bullet point form, but expanded by me here and with screenshots, which will hopefully help. On the whole I think it's a lovely little thing to pair to a tablet or phone and certainly small and light enough to carry about, yet it still feels well made and the aluminium looks good too! Easy to carry wherever you are, and compatible with MacBooks, iPads and iPhones, as well as any laptop, tablet or smartphone using bluetooth technology. It isn't the quietest keyboard though (comparable to using a mechanical keyboard) despite its "whisper-quiet" claims, so don't use this during a meeting. Unlike some other folding keyboards, the zig-zagging design of the hinge fits around the keys, so all of the letter keys are the same size.

In my most recent testing I had an iPhone 14 Pro Max and Surface Duo 2 both connected at once, switching between them at will.com, the Sell on Etsy app, and the Etsy app, as well as the electricity that powers Etsy’s global offices and employees working remotely from home in the US. The keyboard turns itself on when you fold out the two side panels, with three LEDs to indicate the battery level, the Bluetooth status, and if Caps Lock is on. In use, this puts your hands at the same comfortable angle as an ergonomic keyboard, just without the palm support. Plus, the lightweight construction of the keyboard means that if you're a vigorous typist like me, the whole thing will bounce up and down with each keystroke. The included case protects your keyboard when stowed, then a quick flip of the cover turns it into an adjustable stand for your phone or tablet.
