About this deal

I can only hope there is enough time to get this series to its ultimate ending, which I know will be worth the wait. This isn’t necessarily a problem, but it’s definitely an idea that crystallized in my mind as I sat and wondered why this book was so perfect for my upcoming Father’s Day segment. New York Times bestselling author Jeffrey Archer demonstrates his mastery of the short story in It Can’t Be October Already.

I can only hope the intensity continues as the book continues, rocketing towards the ending Archer has in mind. Without fail, almost every man that has stood in front of my bookshelf in the past few months has commented on this Jeffrey Archer book. Archer’s latest, Next in Line, is the fifth addition in a series featuring Detective Chief Inspector William Warwick and his maverick ex-undercover operative, Ross Hogan. Archer knows storytelling and has pulled me in on many an occasion with his flights of fancy and historical perspectives. But when the lightbulb of understanding finally turns on, from that point in both books I didn't want to put them down.Another fantastic novel from Archer and has left us on a cliffhanger with a new book promised next year. Gifted with beauty and spirit, but above all with indomitable will, she sets out in pursuit of an ambition that dwarfs both Kane and Abel, as she battles for the highest office of all . EXCERPT: An outrider from the Special Forces Group swept into Scotland Yard, closely followed by a green Jaguar and an unmarked Land Rover, while two police motorcycles brought up the rear, completing the royal convoy. Despite their different lives, fate is destined to bring them together as they both embark on a ruthless struggle to build a fortune. Taking advantage of the British, he chose to permit groups to say the North Sea oil drilling rights with little cash down.

This time, the team is investigating the Royalty Protection Unit and so, they are all transferred undercover into the same unit. Meanwhile, Harry campaigns for the release of author Anatoly Babakov who has been imprisoned in Siberia, and may put his life in danger in the process .Warwick has his hands full with this one, showing how versatile he can be, alongside his team, as they face some of their most daunting work to date. Archer's ( Kane and Abel ) talent as a raconteur is evident in these 12 distinctive short stories, all of which have surprise endings. One aspect to Warwick that I did appreciate was his dedication to reading stories to his children at bedtime (when he happened to be around at that time).
