Even though readers are left curious to see Sephie’s transition into the underworld with lot a of questions on how she’s going to take on the role of queen of the underworld without any powers like others, we get all the answers as the storyline develops. This whole book, the whole story have a special place in my heart, I cannot wait for the rest to come out and read it finally as a whole and just continue to re read it. Sephie is an ordinary waitress who was saved by the King of the Underworld from a dangerous situation that involved the son of a powerful mafia boss.

Each one must find their place in the world to leave their mark on it, while striving to make it just a little brighter with each choice made. As Sephie refills Anthony’s glass he smacks her ass and pulls her down causing Sephie to defend herself. The plot is good and I get the idea behind it but in all honesty, the writing is terrible and it needs a thorough edit. Boasting the experience as a former editor cooperating with millions of best-seller authors, he knows the most important factors in a novel that attract a specific audience group. Although, this was a usual feat for Sephie, there was a different guest visiting the bar today, and he was the most feared mafia leader around.However, his attention shifted back to her face, and he leaned in to plant a gentle kiss on her forehead. I want to show as much support as possible and this time I know the proceeds are going to the rightful, well deserving author! The storyline thickens as Sephie's routine existence is disrupted by Adrik, who reveals her true identity as Persephone, the destined Queen of the Underworld. I'm so great ful to Sisterhood of the traveling books, that allowed me the chance to read this book. She goes by Sephie, short for Persephone, and the big boss of the local mob is clearly the love interest.

Adrik is immediately drawn to Sephie, and as they spend more time together, he begins to realize that she is his soulmate. He is protective of Sephie and will do everything in his power to make sure that she is safe and sound. Dragon’s Ice by Marion Artwood revolves around Freya who wakes up in the world of ice magic after a terrible accident. The story of the King of the Underworld is all about Sephie and her extraordinary adventure in the Underworld.

I gave the story 5 stars because it’s just that good, but there are typos throughout (which I would gladly fix as that’s what I do) and I just couldn’t lower the rating because of them. Ivan had taken my other arm and was pressing on the acupuncture points on that arm to help give me more relief as we talked. The character development and details from the author were incredible and this proved to be more than just another smutty book. It was the norm for Sephie to be the lead waitress for the mafia gangs when they converged for meetings, and the unscrupulous ones among them harassed Sephie.
