About this deal

There are textbooks for grammar, vocabulary, kanji, and even culture, so you can be sure that you’re getting a well-rounded education in all aspects of the language. Are there any big differences between the two that can have an impact on your learning or are both of them relatively equal to one another? Daarentegen aan het eind van de rit is er als vanzelf de kennis van Jlpt op meer dan voldoende niveau. You’d probably be better off just picking up the grammar points you missed through reading manga or other native materials, or through other sources like A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar, since MNN would contain a lot of stuff that’s redundant for you.

When I started learning Japanese, I did MNN 1 in a language school, then I moved and switched to Genki 2 in another language school. Also recommend turning the subtitles on in case you have a hard time understanding her strange voice. And because I think the self-learning market for Japanese is huge in comparison to other languages (at least that’s how I feel) a CD with spoken dialogues is an absolute must. on top of that you were also forced to choose by yourself if the word needed a particle/postposition or not. I recently bought Genki I and its textbook to start studying grammar because I heard it was a great textbook, but I also heard a lot about Minna no nihongo, and so I started asking myself if I had made the right choice by taking Genki over Minna no nihongo. There's a multi-CD package: Is that just CD-player versions of the MP3 disk that comes with the main textbook, or does it provide additional audio for exercises etc? I, for one, have all of the supplemental materials for MnN, and I'd say that if you have the funds to spend that amount of cash, it's a very good investment. I take physical notes on the vocab and also start running them through Anki several days before I attempt to read the lesson.

doing the exercises feel like being a factory worker in 1940s(you know modern city, Charlie Chaplin)…it’s too simple and too repetitive! With illustrations, easy-to-understand charts, and diagrams, the book is visually stimulating, allowing the learner to more easily learn and reinforce beginner-level Japanese. e., present, past, positive, negative) and I’m left without remembering clearly what the forms actually are… The presentation in the book is inconsistent. First and foremost, it is important to specify you should at least have learned some basic Japanese before using both books. In any event I don’t think it’s going to make or break your studies, so I wouldn’t worry about having made the “right” or “wrong” choice. If you’re having trouble understanding the material or doing the exercises, you can do a few things. Like most textbooks, it starts with polite language (which makes sense, since it’s meant for language schools in Japan, and the learners are likely to need to use this stuff quickly, and politely). On page 2 of each chapter, there are review questions, and comprehensive review question sections are set after so many chapters. I just discovered that, aside from the main Japanese language volume and the corresponding English language translation/explanation book I already have, there are many supplemental volumes per level. Ich hatte Minna no Nihonga in meinen ersten 2 Semestern an der Uni, weil unsere Dozentin in der Zeit dachte, dass es für den Unterricht am optimalsten ist.
