I admit I winced when I weighed this thick tome in my hands and I raised my eyebrows at the title but I really didn’t need to. And then lots of people saying that it made them feel less alone, that they feel like they're trying to figure life out and that everyone seems to be succeeding, and they kind of still don't know what they're doing, and this book made them feel reassured that it's normal and that's what everybody feels like. It gives new meaning to the Girl Guide motto: Be prepared - and provides good jumper storage, under the bed, in the meantime.As Nell navigates the complexities of love, friendship, and self-discovery, I found myself nodding in agreement, pausing to reflect on my own life and decisions. Brilliantly written, extremely relatable, honest, full of humour and totally uplifting, Everyone needs to read this (you don’t have to be forty-something) and realise it’s never too late to change what you don’t like in your life and their are tons of women dealing with the same thoughts and feelings. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. When you get these kind of haphazard rom-coms (a genre I will be trademarking) you expect them to be fun and silly and light-hearted.
