While illustrations are 5+, the text often has choppy rhythms that are sometimes awkward to read and while there is occasionally a bit of rhyme, the authors do not seem to work very hard at finding synonyms that might actually provide that component. Not so with this terrific series that has a boldly colored animal on the right side of every page with a large section of that creature containing a contrasting color of distinctively bumpy, swirly, and/or striated rubbery-ness.

The box set includes a two-piece, three-piece and four-piece dinosaur jigsaw to help children develop their hand-eye co-ordination skills. It was a little weird to say not to touch a dinosaur, but then had the textures on the dinosaurs themselves.

Children will love reading the funny rhyme that warns of the dangers of touching a dinosaur – and then ignoring the advice! Beautifully designed and featuring a range of stimulating novelties, our books encourage creativity and promote learning.

The story kind of gives mixed messages (though it does address this on the back cover): It repeats on every page "never touch a dinosaur" while encouraging children to touch a dinosaur. Innovative silicone touches feature throughout the book, with a different texture for children to explore on every spread. Definitely recommend this for the younger ones as they’ll love the tactile feel of the plastic and then begin to enjoy the story as they grow older. The text on the left side of the page has different fonts and colors and is just as vivid as the critter it describes.

We focus less on what has been done before, and more on pioneering new ideas that children will love. With silicone touches and fun illustrations to explore, children will love building their first jigsaws!

Little ones will love learning to count down from 5 as they explore the amazing bumpy dinosaurs on every page. Their systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). This was my son's favorite book for many months, because he absolutely adores the textures, especially the ones on the front cover. All kidding aside, a really cute book and one that my 9-month-old actually pays attention to because he wants to touch all the cool dino-skins. I would suggest doing a whole lesson on different types of dinosaurs and reading this book as part of it. Simple activities combine with the fun illustrations to create engaging activities that are perfect for little ones to complete.
