About this deal

There wasn’t enough put into the character development or plot to take it to that next level that it had the potential to be so it feels like it’s missing something. So I've been in a book slump for The last month and I happened to come across this author's tiktok And read the blurb and I sat on the book for a few weeks until I saw another TikTok And decided to take the plunge because I noticed that the last book comes out soon So by the time I finish Reading needs the last one will be out. Where is the author coming from to believe that it is her place to speak on these issues; and furthermore to do it in such a way that suggests an extreme lack of knowledge and tact, if not an outright peddling of alt right ideology. It’s often mentioned that because she is not the heir, she can have affairs or have children while unmarried.

As secrets unravel about Legion's vicious past, questions rise over who has the true right to the throne. It was a different and interesting story with how the world is set up, to characters, roles, backgrounds and magic systems.I will say that the FMC does make some really dumb decisions BUT She does them in a way that you can relate to As a younger coming of age adult. All in all, this book was not for me (I’m just clarifying in case this super long review did not highlight this point 😂).

I already had it on my kindle and picked it based on the title; not actually remembering any description. even the narrator is the same, which if you thought the storyline was a coincidence, getting the same narrator makes much less likely.I enjoyed it so much I'm starting the 2nd book immediately which I haven't done with any series in a while.

Though I don't know if that's because the same person narrates it and I've just connected the two or because the stories are similar. A lot of their history is told, not shown through actual “history lessons” disguised as journal entries. There are clear and significant ties between Viking culture and organised racist movements, with Viking imagery and symbolism used widely to help push varying white supremacist narratives. The characters were fantastic and the world building showed great potential but because these are dependent on the writing something was amiss. The second half of the book moved VERY fast as it was so action packed it jumbled and mixed together that following along (especially at the end) was a little confusing, but I stuck with it and hoped things would clear up (and they did). wow, la verdad es que es de esas historias que te atrapan bien fuerte desde el primer capítulo; tal vez por sus personajes tan geniales, por la chispa que surge entre Elise y Legion, o por todo el misterio que rodea a este misterioso caballero. Lo que sí que me gusta mucho es que pese a ser una saga de 9 libros, en realidad está subdividida en 3 trilogías, todas ambientadas en el mismo mundo.
