About this deal

Nothing in this world has ever shone as brightly as you do or made me want to be a better person like you do.

She drinks afternoon tea because she wants to be British but she now lives in New England and that's as close as it is going to get. I don't know what Abby is planning to do with the donating blood scene but it certainly didn't make me think of Nan as a hero. For those of you (like me) who didn’t love Take a Chance, I would recommend you give this one a go and let Grant redeem himself for you as well!

Why have her have this serious heart condition in which having a child could kill her if she’s going to be fine? Of course, soft-spoken timid Harlow doesn't protest much, in fact, she couldn't get to his arms fast enough. Harlow heart condition is a scary thing which I have lived through as well so this story touched me so deeply. But a life-changing secret has torn them apart, and now Grant and Harlow must decide if they have enough fight to make it work - or if the pain of betrayal has permanently destroyed their future.

Because we all know that it's different, so, so different when it's that someone who's holding your hand. When she’s not locked away writing, she is reading, and/or watching Netflix like the introvert that she is.We watch the young lovers suffer acutely from the separation, desperately missing each other, wishing they never parted ways, but Harlow's priorities have shifted now and she remains determined to stay hidden from the man she still loves and the media that is still hounding her. Grant started off as an ‘acquired taste’ type of hero, one who acted on impulse and made a million mistakes in the process, but in this book we get to see a different side of him. I was so angry at Grant, at how he had behaved throughout the book and certainly how he had reacted when Harlow revealed her heart condition. Plus, it’s something that she can pass on to her child, so I am having a hard time understanding why she’d want to keep this baby. She did an amazing job, and as hard as her choices were she definitely had the love and support of her friends and family.

And admittedly, I can’t honestly say I loved Grant unconditinoally in book 1 (he made many mistakes), but I completely fell in love with him in this book. Alongside the character development insight into how parental involvement and the nature of that involvement has on the emotional development of a person was profound and thought provoking.

Our donations to The Rainbow Centre have helped provide an education and a safe haven to hundreds of children who live in appalling conditions. Her style is too amateurish for my taste (especially the dialogue) and some of the characters were written in a way that came off too melodramatic, childish and inconceivable (i.

I can’t recommend this book enough and I can’t wait to discuss it with everyone… because there is so much to talk about. By completing your purchase, you agree to Audible's Conditions of Use and authorise Audible to charge your designated card or any other card on file. Grant in my opinion is the worst male lead AG created his actions in the first book just made him look like an immature cheating wimp but in this one he was just. I know Abby tries to make Harlow seem 'strong' but how could I, especially, when she sees Nan kissing Grant in front of her and Harlow doesn't do a thing?

The story line is amazing and her facts about how it feels to live with a heart defect is spot on, that is exactly how I felt.
