Color Wonder Paints are mess free and only appear on special Color Wonder Paper, not on skin, clothing, or walls. The paint pads are securely sealed in the unit during the manufacturing process and not removable, so we do not recommend attempting to remove them.

When creative time is done, b e sure to close the paint pot strip covers to prevent the paint from drying out. The paint strokes are not full with color but splotchy like many of the photos shown in the other reviews.It’s easier for the little ones to distinguish which colors they are using according to the pen color. Since the paint pads will not dry out , the cover does not need to be airtight and replacing the paint pads is not necessary.
