Now for our wonderful eccentric group of men, The Exiled, the demons in Palmer's bed (well she’s in theirs really but close enough. This book just fascinated me so much and kept me waiting to see what would happen next and I just enjoyed reading this book so much. I couldn't do anything else once I started, and I'll be thinking about Palmer and the boys for a long, long, while.I don’t normally reread or listen to audiobooks more than once but I can’t help myself with this one.

This is yet another triumph for this talented duo and honestly, the accents Jake laid out were superb. But back to the current timeline, DIMBIES starts off about 6 months after the end of Magic of Eternity. Hopefully I put my trust in the right people because betrayal on it’s own is terrible, but to be betrayed by those who swore to protect you? I will say from looking at the character art and descriptions I thought I’d have a specific favorite but I was so wrong. This was a book I needed to read I forgot how much I love paranormal romances and everything about this story reminded me why !I might look like a snack to these males - who have been apex predators for far too long - but I assure you, I'm nobody's prey. I mean, we've seen The Exiled in the future already so how much could there really be before the craziness of Emerald Lakes? I especially felt for Palmer, who is a pawn of a greater power and has been dropped into a game she does not yet understand and still manages to kickbutt. Honestly, I’m not sure that Sloane is capable of letting someone claim him, but he certainly makes my heart race.
