Overall, a funny and low-stakes (feels weird saying that given all the death) murder-mystery that can be read in an afternoon while you ignore your responsibilities. He works from home in London, thinking of twists for murder mysteries and practicing the banjo instead of writing (much to the annoyance of his neighbours). She's also makes some very dubious decisions, often throwing herself in harms way for no reason that had me rolling my eyes.

I was laughing but also on the edge of my seat, these dates were so humorously horrid I couldn’t get enough. The book effortlessly draws you in, immersing you in its intriguing storyline and well-developed characters. From the opening chapter to discovering who the murderer was I couldn’t stop myself from flicking the pages, it was an enthralling easy read. Throughout the story we are given different suspects and just when I thought I had figured it out another curveball would come my way.After a breakup with her long term boyfriend, Gwen can’t help but constantly refresh her dating app to stay distracted and to maybe move on. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. Before she knows what’s happening, Gwen finds herself the main suspect in a serial killer’s murderous spree, and the only way she can clear her name is to track down her former dates (even those that have ghosted her) and unmask a killer before it’s too late.

Her journey through a host of murders in the milleu of Eastbournes dating scene is funny, fast paced and wildly unpredictable.She is refreshingly realistic, a character who feels like a genuine human being rather than a mere archetype. Full of twisty turns and red herrings, it kept me guessing every other chapter but I never suspected the killer!
