I just find it out that a book that's intended to give a villain her own voice instead takes her agency. I found the backstory of the Queen to be interesting but I found it seemed to follow the same story as the original story.

A great examination of how grief, mental health, and abuse can change who we are (note, I don't think those things absolve us for poor behavior). The tale of the young princess, Snow White, and her evil stepmother, the Wicked Queen, is widely known-the Queen was jealous of the girl's beauty, and this jealousy culminated in the Queen's attempt on the sweet, naive girl's life. I liked the art style of the green while the Queen was happy and slowly dissolving into black as she becomes the Wicked Stepmother that we've come to know from the movie.Fiona Marchbank (known online as FionaCreates) is a freelance illustrator and comic book artist working in Yorkshire, UK.

Curious to see if more of the series will made into graphic novels, especially The Odd Sisters and Mother Knows Best. The tolls of parental resentment, jealousy, envy, and magic manifest in the queen’s behavior as the story progresses. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal.Part of it was from the art style, I didn't really enjoy it and it often made the speech bubbles seem to be in the wrong spot. The evil stepmother in this retelling of “Snow White” starts life as a commoner who marries the king and becomes a loving mother to his little girl. I will say I liked the twisted ending where Snow White receives the same mirror with her step-mother inside of it.
