About this deal

The perfect funny read to relax with or gift to a girlfriend for her summer holiday chill (although also perfect by the fire in winter with a good glass of red now that I think of it). Let me know your message for inside the card, plus the name and address it needs to head along to and I will sort it all for you.

This being said, I did find this book entertaining, and if you are not looking for something too taxing to read I would definitly recommend it. Having watched Clara on Social Media, seen her journey and how hard she has worked to do something she loves, I appreciate how damn naturally funny and clever she is. She is co-writing a comedy series and recently acted in the Sky Original film A Christmas Number One.I recently read this memoir, and I found it to be both amusing and relatable, as well as having a modern feel to it. It was such an easy, relatable book to read and i have already recommended it to a few of my gin loving parent friends for them to devour and enjoy as well.

If you are a fan of the 'Why Mummy Drinks' series, then I couldn't recommend this one enough - I think you will love it. I loved how a story would start somewhere and end up somewhere completely different in thought and humour. Most importantly, Clara shows us that no matter how much we adore our little treasures, life isn't just about their A, B and bloody Cs. This doodle was inspired from a card I painted for my daughters teachers at Christmas, which they framed and have up in their office… it made me think that perhaps some other fun teachers out there might enjoy an end of term giggle too!

There's no promise to teach you something, just a little insight into another person and the highs and lows of their life. By completing your purchase, you agree to Audible's Conditions of Use and authorise Audible to charge your designated card or any other card on file. I've read a few books by influencers now and this has to be the most self-deprecating of all of them. TikTok sensation Clara Batten has dedicated the last few years to seeking the answer to one of lifes most crucial questions:Is it possible to raise and nurture two small humans without losing your bloody mind? The good news is, now she’s found (some of) the answers and is sharing her secrets with the rest of us!

To access you ebook(s) after purchasing, you can download the free Glose app or read instantly on your browser by logging into Glose. She has been featured in YOU, the Daily Mail, the Sun, the Poke and Netmums, while her sketches have been shown on BBC Breakfast and Loose Women. I may not myself pick this book up again, however I definitly have an idea of some other people I will recommend this to. Exuding warmth and humour, Gin and Phonics is the much-needed antidote to Instagram-perfect motherhood. I love Clara's dry wit and I am sure other parents will be able to relate to all the goings on in this book.TBH it’s humour is so founded in reality of life with small people and Clara has a fantastic dry sense of humour that truly comes through as you read. how to finally pursue your acting ambitions in your forties (despite a toddler sh*tting on the stairs during a self-tape audition).
