I guess if there is a constructive way to beat the demons and fight the pain, this is quite a way to do it.

People who speak from real life experiences are the ones worth listening to, especially those who embody everything they preach. They swirl in the eddies of comfort or regret, perhaps claim their victimhood, and stop looking for their way out of the maze. Even if what forces you to quit is an injury or something else beyond your control, you will still have to bounce back from the experience mentally.Dude has had a dozen surgeries in his life from the physical demands he puts on his body, and after going through one that could've completely ended all physical pursuits in his life, he signs up for a 444 mile cycling race? I only race myself" followed by story after story of a race that he refused to stop because other people were ahead of him or the race he pushed harder because some guy passed him and commented on passing him. This is a continuation of his first book and has so many new stories and lessons, I would say it;s equal or slightly above the first book.
