About this deal

Seems her stalker knows all about Kitty’s darker urges, and they’re ready to tell all… unless Kitty can stop them first. Firstly, the cover and the title – I will be honest I picked this up only for its title and the cover. I literally couldn’t put this book down, I was just so engrossed in Kitty and what the heck she was going to do next! Anyway, as the bodies mount up, Kitty becomes committed to her mission to rid London of despicable men. Fans of My Sister the Serial Killer, How to Kill Your Family and Killing Eve will love this wickedly clever novel!

Every interaction with the police was an absolute joke, one asking for a selfie and the other wondering when she's getting back on insta cuz her sister is worried.Kitty is too complicated to be dismissed with a 'Psychopath - move on' label and too broken to be a cool woman engaged in a guerilla war against the patriarchy. Kitty Collins, vegan, Instagram influencer, heiress to a meat processing empire, woman filled with rage, and serial killer. Katy Brent anchors the book in reality by having Kitty Collins utilize the news and Tinder as a connection vehicle. There are aspects of the unreliable narrator but it went well with the story, having you turning page after page – which is a definite must in a thriller. Aside from the killing, there’s also a helpful dose of romance and friendship (although the latter proves quite tricky for our dear Kitty in some respects!

There is definitely something cathartic about seeing crappy abusive dudes getting bumped off, so while Kitty could definitely have had some room to grow and evolve, it’s escapist fun at the end of the day and that’s just fine. The right amount of pressure on their windpipe and they’d just go limp, like when a kitten suddenly falls asleep.Although grateful for the freedom that her thousands of followers give her to enjoy the luxurious lifestyle that she has become accustomed to, Kitty uses her profile brilliantly to hide what she believes is her real job in the world: to rid the Earth of undeserving men! The plot itself was actually very boring and don't get me started on the accessibility she had for her victims. She lays out the abuse and misogyny that triggered the "Me Too" movement and then imagines what would happen if one of those women discovered that she had a talent for killing, that she enjoyed it and that she could (probably) get away with it.
