The design gives off good heat distribution and the coppery finish is different to the many dull black products that are on the market. We have have used it several times this past few weeks and it has kept us warm and toasty into the early hours of the morning. The cover seems to be quite effective - i'm not 100% sure it will last but so far so good, so it looks like it will survive outside pretty well as there is no sign on any weathering at all.
