The album contains guest spots from musicians not associated with dance music at the time such as John Lydon from Public Image Ltd.

Now consisting solely of Neil Barnes since the project’s reactivation in 2010, it’s a satisfying slate of reliably bass-heavy progressive house, featuring the ace single ‘Pulse’. Leftism is the debut studio album by English electronic music duo Leftfield (Neil Barnes and Paul Daley), originally released in 1995 on Columbia Records.
