I was captived by the very first sentence and just knew right then and there I would love this book.

I couldn’t relate to her in these aspects because I just felt like she was acting like a spoiled child and not an eighteen-year-old woman. It doesn’t matter if the story lacks any of the former elements, as long as we can gain something impactful that would either upgrade our perspective or comfort our inner souls. Hiding away, once again, she is living in isolation, forging an existence from the torn shreds left behind. To avoid anything scandalous, her mother set out an assassin to kill Father Magnus and even rushed the process of Tinsley’s upcoming marriage with the heir of a powerful family.Yet again I have to agree with people who said that neither Magnus nor the Catholic school itself gave off priest Catholic vibes. this is giving me same vibes as sam brennan in The Monster only choosing aisling because they both kill people for a living! Father Magnus expects Tinsley to be just like the other girls, but he finds Tinsley to have a mind of her own, one that’s very intellectual and certainly made for more than just the plans her mom has for her: be someone’s trophy wife.

Such lessons are connected as it were by threads to provide you with the best selection from hundreds of study pages. What first starts as bratty behavior to get herself expelled, soon turns into something more when she lands in the crosshairs of Magnus.I am in book heaven right now floating on endorphins so high, I don't know if there's moving on from this story. Sweet baby’s Jesus and all that is Holy, I feel like I need to atone for my sins of the many impure thoughts I had from reading this book. forgive me father for I have sinned 😮‍💨 I love me a good forbidden romance y’all, and this one really gave me what I needed. the age gap, the teacher/student, the spice, the catholic boarding school, the slowburn, the connection! Tinsley is insanely attracted to Magnus, but it’s during their one on one sessions that she slowly starts to fall for him.

Also, having now read every book Pam Godwin has written during a deep dive in the last 3 months, I can say with certainty that only Sea of Ruin holds a candle to what I feel for this book. He hasn’t always been a priest, he used to be a self made billionaire and most eligible bachelor of New York but after his “unsavory” wants in the bedroom led him to a traumatic moment he left his life and became a priest. Though it seemed rushed, delivered only for the sake of its conclusion, it wasn’t, not in the least, disappointing. Single Sundays: While this blog may be focused on reviewing book series as a whole, we can’t forget about the good ole’ standalone novel! When he's granted early parole to help with a family emergency, he’s determined to reclaim his life.
