About this deal

Home baked bread is healthy, wholesome and smells amazing and with our 1lb ProCook non-stick loaf pan baking your own has never been more easy.

Or, for classic savoury terrines such as ham hock terrine and duck, chicken and sour cherry terrine.

Actually, LaLoose, I have just been in to the Showroom and measured; I litre for a 1lb, possibly down to 900ml (as our pans are on the large size). Only a thin lip runs the perimeter of the loaf tin, meaning it wasn’t as easy to remove from the oven as some of the others on this list. Once baked, the two lips at either end of the tin were easy to grip while wearing oven gloves, making it easy to remove from the oven. Every time I try to make the Dense Chocolate Loaf Cake receipie from "Domestic Godess" (p166) it explodes over the oven like a volcano! The sizing conventions and units for loaf pans are all over the place and I too wish there was just one unit used.

Although the inside of this pan is non-stick, we’d recommend buttering and flouring the floral design inside to ensure a smooth and easy release from the pan. Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page.

Too much dough baked in my Pullman loaf pan with the lid on left a dense ring around the outer edge. The cake got its name because traditional pound cake used a pound of each ingredient (flour, sugar, butter, eggs). If you have increased the density of the cake mixture in the tin, possibly by using a smaller but deeper tin, you may find that the cake isn’t cooking evenly. The coating is applied using the best methods and the finest state of the art non-stick spray coating facilities, meaning a continuous and stable coating is used, so each batch is the same.

True to form with the Circulon Momentum range, this loaf tin features a concentric circle pattern on the base. Together, we're striving to make a positive impact on the environment and create a sustainable future. Using the 500g of flour type of recipe (or a multiple of this), what might be a good tin size to use for a final loaf that will be good for sandwiches etc? This generously sized loaf tin from Circulon is a lightweight offering with ultra-handy lips at the top and bottom of the cake tin. However, my 500g flour mix, with 285g of water, 150g of 100% starter and 8g salt, sort-of worked in this tin but upping the percentages to achieve 550g of flour as you have done would probably fill the tin better.
