Despite having 2 very good TVs 77A80J and 65ZD9 which is what Geoff has, somehow I felt sidelined in few threads dominated by Projector owners who passive aggressively belittle you just because they can afford a mancave with big rigs. flares being deployed, it's epic soundscape implementation, immersing you so utterly in the proceedings that, even if you've seen it once, twice, three times at the cinema, you'll likely turn a simple intention of "I'll just pop in the disc to watch the opening scene" into a joyous fourth viewing of the entire movie. This situation is similar to those with high luminance displays complaining about lack of pop due to conservative grading lol. The disc’s glossy special features not withstanding, Top Gun: Maverick is also a demo-worthy 4K Ultra HD experience that is absolutely not to be missed.
