About this deal

As he grows up, he hates his life in London, and everything to do with growing up and eventually becoming a gentleman.

Suddenly her unfortunate circumstances are transformed in ways at once astonishing and seemingly impossible. Upon reaching his majority, he 'runs' away from home to become a pirate, hoping to find a way back to that happy place. No matter that the Northuldra - along with some of Arendelle’s own - have been trapped in the Enchanted Forest behind an impenetrable wall of mist since the day of the battle. Remember there are always two sides to every story and that person you think is evil may be who you least expect it. The first 100 pages were going so well, giving me high hopes that I was going to really like this one.If starting with Never Never, readers new to the series may get lost in a whirlwind of history, dark magic, time and space.

The two-hundredth anniversary of the Headless Horseman's legendary haunting of Sleepy Hollow is approaching, but Kat van Tassel wants nothing to do with the town's superstitious celebrations. Je suis donc un peu déçue de cette fin de roman, mais j’ai passé un très très bon moment sur cette lecture, c’était très doudou alors ça me convient très bien! Funny how much sympathy can be drawn for these “villains”, excellent narration and wonderful tale of piracy! To keep all the different key stone magical items in mind and then be able to tie them back to another story is just stunning. But reader beware: if Hook’s story breaks your heart too, I suspect it shan’t be mended in later novels.

A few years and one deceased stepfather later, the only version of Lady Tremaine that Drizella and Anastasia know is a bitter and cruel head of house. His obsession with getting back to Neverland, with *SPOILER* wanting to be a kid again, *END SPOILER* could’ve been interesting, but it wasn’t really explored, just something I was repeatedly told. What I loved most is that this book uses a lot of very popular theories surrounding Peter Pan and Neverland and manages to connect them with the Disney tale everyone knows. Not to mention that danger lurks everywhere – especially when it comes to the Odd Sisters and their meddlesome ways. Maybe my feelings were a bit shady because of another recently read that tells another story about Hook with more intensity and mystery.Valentino’s original, behind-the-scenes tale across the entire Villains series largely culminates in this story. Not only do Valentino’s stories give readers the opportunity to explore villains they know and love, readers are also introduced to new characters that operate behind the scenes of classic Disney plots, giving tales-as-old-as-time a bewitching new twist.

I did like how his presence and dedication to his captain was explained - being a father figure to James. Request Rejected This page is unavailable due to either geographic restrictions or other restrictions in place at this time. This book series is based around fiction, fairy tales, and magic, so having an actual historic figure in the story was confusing and just off to me. In terms of characters, I think the reason I struggled to connect with James was that his actions felt selfish to me all along. But just as she is on the cusp of accepting a life of misery, events take a stunning turn when a handsome stranger - the poet and notorious rake Lord Byron - arrives at her house, stricken by what seems to be a curse, and with a cryptic message for Lucy.

James, the heir to a duchy, fell out of his pram and was whisked away to Never Land where he played with the Lost Boys and Peter Pan before his parents managed to find him and bring him home. And even once James gets to Never Land (which I was looking forward to), I found the whole plot there to be so contrived and ridiculous. But Barnum has never given up a money-making scheme in his life, and he's determined to hold on to his mermaid.
