About this deal

Far from being a preening noble hiding up in the Spire, Lady Haera loves nothing more than getting her hands dirty with a masterwork power spear and a phase sword. She’s a terror to face – so make sure she’s on your side when she arrives on Saturday. This is a show you won’t want to miss – and with reveals this exciting, you’ll have no trouble staying up. In fact, we need some time to recover ourselves, so unfortunately there’ll be no Hang Out and Paint this week. The show will return next week! Every Ork player always needs more boyz, and this gives you just that plus the new Snikrot model too. (Delayed in Japan) Boarding Patrol: Aeldari

Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights contains the flawless soul of Castellan Crowe, as well as five Terminators, and 10 supremely versatile Grey Knights that can be built as Strike, Interceptor, or Purifier squads.* Boarding Patrol: Necrons This is hard-hitting force includes three Crisis Battlesuits and a squad of 10 Fire Warriors, who are perfectly suited for close-quarters combat when assembled as a Breacher Team. The battlesuits have numerous short-ranged weapon options, which offer great utility against many different enemy types in tight spaces. Here’s everything in the box, painted up by Games Workshop’s ‘Eavy Metal team and professionally photographed – as if you didn’t need tempting more. Commander Farsight doesn’t just have a book dedicated to him – he’s also got an awesome new model, which is first available in Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire. This powerful assault force contains three Crisis battlesuits and 10 Fire Warriors, accompanied by a small shoal of Drones. It’s a firepower-first nightmare for enemy patrols, and even includes some close combat punch thanks to Farsight himself.* Arks of Omen: Farsight Enclaves Dice Set As they’ll be doing the lion’s share of the damage – against many different kinds of troops – our Crisis Battlesuits have a diverse selection of weapons at their disposal, from infantry-shredding burst cannons to elite-melting fusion blasters. We’ll also prize Early Warning Overrides for their bonuses to Overwatch – extremely potent in Boarding Action games. As with all Arks of Omen books, Farsight contains additional rules for playing Boarding Actions, adding Enhancements and Stratagems for the T’au Empire, Asuryani and Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adepta Sororitas. Even though both Farsight and his Crisis Team both have the Fly keyword, they have special dispensation to undertake Boarding Actions. This Boarding Patrol focuses on landing a swift hammer-blow into the enemy force while the Breacher Team splits up to secure objectives. The Farsight Enclaves can do without dedicated markerlight units at close range, so spend the points you’ll save on a shoal of Tactical Drones to clog up a corridor.** Finally, we should talk about Farsight. He does have a current datasheet, but with his new release, I would expect his rules to be tweaked, either majorly or barely, so at this point it’s hard to say how he might play until we have his new stats in hand. He does have strong abilities, such as his Warlord Trait Exemplar of the Mont’ka, where any core unit with 9″ of Farsight can benefit from wound re-rolls should they be targeting someone within 9-12″. His ability Way of the Short Blade grants core units within 6″ an extra 1 to their hit rolls in the Fight Phase. As of now, Farsight’s auras and abilities are made to brilliantly play into the melee aspect of the game – making him a top choice for a Boarding Patrol. As well as advancing the narrative of Warhammer 40,000, this book includes significant expansions for the Boarding Actions game mode. Not only do Dark Depths missions allow you to mix up your battlefields, the book also introduces multiplayer games for three or four players – be they two-on-two team matches or exciting free-for-alls. The Eight are the elite war council of the Farsight Enclaves – including O’Shovah himself, of course. They may not be a deployable force on the battlefield at present, but we can certainly build a 2,000-point army around them. A mixture of elite Crisis, Broadside , and Riptide battlesuit teams is very on-brand for the Farsight Enclaves, after all.

If your alignment is slightly more devious, Drukhari might be a better option than normal Eldar. Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights Vashtorr the Arkifane’s quest for the Key-fragments is nearing its end, and the action turns to the dead world of Arthas Moloch in the fourth chapter in the epic narrative series, Arks of Omen: Farsight . Commander Farsight is just preparing to wrap up the vicious War of Dakka once and for all, when calamity strikes and his entire operation is jeopardised by the arrival of the Unhallowed space hulk and its Balefleet entourage. As someone who both owns T’au and has had the displeasure of being on the receiving end of a T’au army – this box looks like it’s gonna sting with all that firepower – and with Farsight at the front, the memes of T’au being unable to melee can now be put to rest (at least partially!). With 26 miniatures – the vast majority of which are recent releases – the Aeldari Boarding Patrol will have caught the eye of many collectors. Were it up to me, with 165 points to spare, I’d probably want to bring another unit of 10 Fire Warriors to pad the boarding force out with more firepower and then use the remaining 75 points to upgrade everything possible to the max – and there’s such a cornucopia of guns, especially with the Battlesuits, to choose from – and they’re all pretty valuable, despite their standard/ shorter range – but then again, that’s what Boarding Actions is all about. There’s too many walls to be sniping someone off the board with railguns – so sometimes the closer you can get, the better.

The Drukhari already love to raid voidcraft for business and pleasure, and the Arks of Omen have only spilled blood in the water. A Succubus leads 20 Wyches in Boarding Patrol: Drukhari, accompanied by a band of five sinister Incubi. A cursory glance tells me that the Voidscarred are the more flavourful choice of kit – they have more options concerning loadouts, and cooler models (let’s be honest). That’s to be expected, considering this kit originated from Kill Team: Nachmund – so differing variants in the unit will have unique abilities. For example, the Way Seeker is a psyker, the Shade Runner can give extra mortal wounds after charging and the Felarch can throw his bird at the target, who loses any benefit of cover. Birds are vicious, after all. Few things are as terrifying in a confined space as a Phoenix Lord. Jain Zar leads Boarding Patrol: Aeldari accompanied by five Howling Banshees, as well as 20 Corsair Voidscarred who can be assembled as any one of two different units. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari All models are supplied with their appropriate bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

Since it’s his first foray with the new XV-86 Supernova battlesuit, we’ll start with the Boarding Patrol. Swiftstrike Boarding Team Fire Warriors, which can be built as either a Strike Team or a Breacher Team, plus 1x Support Turret Furthermore, the Crisis Battlesuits have Overwatch – meaning any enemy unit that declares a charge, you can be that guy to say ‘Halt thy dice rolls! And witness thine!’ and roll off first to see if you get to damage or even kill the enemy before they plough into you with whatever nasty combat abilities they have. Again, extremely useful to have in a game mode where close combat can be literally around the corner. Plus with all the other wargear you can get, like Shield Generator et Iridium Battlesuit, you can get 4+ invulnerable save and Save of 2+ respectively. The new Boss Snikrot stays true to the old Finecast model. Snikrot became a touch bigger and the details are a bit sharper and more precise thanks to the plastic casting, but otherwise, almost all the details can be found again. The three heads are a nice addition, but I would have preferred an alternative left arm to mimic the iconic “shhh” pose of the old model. The other stuff

Sneak into the Arks of Omen and cause some big green havoc with Boss Snikrot and his boyz. Boarding Patrol: Orks is a musclebound collection of tough-as-nails fighters led by the legendary Kommando Boss sporting a brand new model. In addition to Snikrot, you’ll board with five Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, and 10 Kommandos – who also drag along a reluctant Kommando Grot and far-too-enthusiastic Bomb Squig for the ride.* Boarding Patrol: Aeldari The Drukhari already love to raid voidcraft for business and pleasure, and the Arks of Omen have only spilled blood in the water. A Succubus leads 20 Wyches in Boarding Patrol: Drukhari, accompanied by a band of five sinister Incubi. Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights

Farsight & Snikrot Are Coming in These New Pre-Orders GW Revealedd

These upgrades come just in time for his greatest challenge yet in Arks of Omen: Farsight . The infamous Bad Moons warlord Nazdreg, master of tellyporta taktiks, has taken up the reins of the War of Dakka – a never-ending conflict fuelled by the Orks’ desire to beat the Farsight Enclaves at their own shooting game. Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire provides mobile and heavily armoured infantry, perfectly suited to overwhelming foes in games of Warhammer 40,000 – especially in the dense and deadly Boarding Action missions detailed in the Arks of Omen series – and will save you money compared to buying the kits individually. Well, that’s assuming they are not capped at low numbers like the previous ones and twos from previous weeks… At a base level, the T’au Boarding Patrol comes in at a little cheaper that some of the other Boarding Patrol sets we’ve looked at so far. However, there is reason for this. Take a look at the table below. This is quite the sweet deal if you want to listen to podcasts or books! Especially if you’re traveling, this is perfect for helping pass the time. Here’s everything you get even at the cheaper price:
