Firstly turn off the cold water supply and ensure that the water flow to the existing filter has been stopped. Connect the inlet and outlet tubing to the appropriate end of the filter by firmly pushing until tightly sealed. This is reset MANUALLY and is simply a 6-month timer that has no digital connection to the filter. The DA29-10105J is tested and certified by NSF International for safety and performance, NSF Code DA2010CB. It is recommended that this filter is replaced every 6 months or 3785 litres. Samsung is a bit of strange affair when it comes to spare parts as, information can be limited as can supply be at times and, this can lead to what might seem higher than average pricing.
