I have refilled this 3 times so far and still not a single leak – so massive points in the bag for this version of the Falcon. At this point push the top cap across to reveal the fill port – it does have quite a bit of resistance so you might have to push harder than you expected. Pictures for illustration purposes. As usual, you can open or close these to your liking by twisting the outer layer at the base. Having the slots fully open gives you the wide open draw many vapers prefer, but if you like more of a mouth-to-lung style hit you can close it up to get a much tighter draw. Top Filling System Considering that this atomiser’s drip tip is 25mm wide, it is clear to see that the HorizonTech Falcon 2 is best paired with an advanced box mod to achieve the best results from this sub ohm tank. Not only does the tank’s resin, wide-bore mouthpiece look amazing, it enhances vapour production by maximising the amount of vapour you can inhale with every vape. Of course, the amount of air you choose to consume every inhale can be adjusted by the adjustable airflow slider which can be found at the base of the tank. The tank itself differs from its predecessor through the new coil system that has been implemented. Instead of a screw in base as before, the tank features push in coils making the change of coils much easier than ever before. The coils are not compatible with the former tanks and visa versa with the old flacon coils. The design is changed with an inside cage to hold the coil in place once inserted which is a difference from before and the clean look inside. The Falcon 2 Sub Ohm Tank looks similar to the previous Falcon tanks. It is well-crafted and very shiny. You can find the diagonal line patterns on the airflow ring and underneath the top cap. The ridges on the tank and underneath the glass are fancy and special. The Falcon 2 has a smaller base diameter of 25mm. It is not big or hefty or tall but looks pretty and matches with major mods on the market. The threading is smooth, the machining and build quality are excellent. It comes with a standard 810 drip tip in a resin style, which well matches the tank color. Your other 810 drip tip can also fit the Falcon 2 perfectly whether it has o-rings or not. The Falcon II Sector coils are a 0.14 Ohm resistance, they will work up to 75W. To experience the true ability o these coils, you’ll need a device that can deliver a 75W output or higher. A big change for this generation is the coils. They are not compatible with older Falcon coils as this has a push in pull out coil system.However after 4 refills (approx 20ml) this was starting to taste burnt. Upon removing the coil it obviously was! I think this may be down to my e-liquid being a coil killer. I don’t use this e-liquid often so wasn’t sure if it would be. The benefit of a mesh coil build, like that which the Sector coils use, is that they can heat more e-liquid at a faster rate - due to their larger surface area. This increase in the surface area, equals a boost in flavour from your e-liquids. The fan-woven shape of this coil accentuates vapour flow, meaning you’ll also experience increased vapour production. The flavour is as pure as anything still – I will try and update as to how long this coil does last. Pros Refilling couldn’t be easier. The top-filling system works really well, with the top cap smoothly sliding off to the side when you push the indicated position on the rim. The fill hole itself is big, and leads directly down into the tank section. Even if you were brand new to vaping you’d be able to refill the tank with no problems even with no instructions. Problems with the 2 ml Tube Well as you can see there is no valve to seal here! It is just an open tank when you remove the coil! If you tip the tank upside down for coil changes though you should be fine.

Anyway the conclusion is that none of my mods really suit this very well so I am sorry if this review hurts your eyes.By the way some of the marketing info says the coils are 0.14ohm but there is 0.16ohm stamped on the coils so I will go with that. As you can imagine there was a massive amount of expectancy with the Falcon 2, after all, much like your favourite band releasing a new album you expect only the very best. Having a hands on with the Falcon 2, I can safely say that they haven’t improved as such, just changed what the best could potentially be….. If using a new coil or for the first fill leave to stand for a good 10-15 minutes to make sure the coil is fully saturated with e-liquid to avoid an evil dry hit!
