About this deal

Due to their sheer scale, all HasLab campaigns are kept in-house and are thus sorta kinda joint exclusives between Hasbro Pulse, TakaraTomy Mall, and a very select list of secondary retailers with Hasbro and TakaraTomy's blessing to cover additional regions around the globe. The new wheels take this toy to a completely different level than the Legacy version - no upgrade kits needed. TRANSFORMERS G1-INSPIRED DESIGN: This Transformers: Legacy 5.5-inch Decepticon Dragstrip robot toy is inspired by the animated series, The Transformers, updated with a Generations-style design Alt mode is where the paint shines, IMO. The gold (especially on the tire rims) goes a long way to break up what could easily be a boring palette. Everything is tastefully applied. Shadowstrip is a repaint of Legacy Dragstrip in G2 colors. As of 10/22, it's unknown whether all 5 Stunticons will be repainted in G2 colors.

If you look at the robot mode, there's no way the thighs can go into the torso. Those extra joints shown in the arm mode appear to be telescoping joints, similar to CW Dragstrip's. This would allow the legs to collapse at the knees. The telescope pieces also appear to be double jointed, allowing the inner elbow joint to bend at a higher point than the outer one. Pretty ingenious, honestly. Drag Strip and his fellow Stunticons were rereleased without changes as part of the European "gold-box" Classics reissue line in 1990. VELOCITRON SPEEDIA 500 COLLECTION: The race is on! Bots from across the multiverse have gathered on Velocitron to participate in the Speedia 500, a planet-wide race to determine its next leaderRenderform Components (RW-42S Cyber Power Blade (Silver), RW-40 Phantom Divine Axe, RW-40S Phantom Divine Axe (Shadow Empire), RW-41SB Heartrix Blade (Silver/Blue), RW-41GE Heartrix Blade (Gold/Purple)) Between the hardwork of @artguy101 and Takio Ejima, Dragstrip ended up being a real beauty! Dan Khana absolutely crushed the concept work done for this stunticon henchman. Its a real treat whenever I get to work with Dan, such a talented guy and he really lives for the brand, diehard fan! We talked alot about how the arm would break apart for Menasor and you can see there was a couple ideas thrown around in the up front.

Drag Strip and the other Stunticons watched in horror as Megatron bludgeoned Motormaster with a boulder for suggesting that he might need their assistance in defeating Optimus Prime. Prey! Sorry, due to how that thing must transform, the spot where the connector port would go seems like it would have to be where the thighs need to store in vehicle mode. The thighs (and probably the waist and crotch, too, if we want to preserve waist rotation) have to push up into the torso because they can't push down into the shins, because of the need to store the extra joints depicted for combiner mode elbows.

In TakaraTomy's take on the line, everyone is established as visiting the " Legacy World" (レガシーワールド), alternatively "Legacy Spacetime" (レガシー時空) or "Transformers Legacy World" (トランスフォーマーレガシーワールド) in full. Their origin universe descriptions are largely similar, to the point of using Hasbro's names for the lines rather than their own (in line with their use of Hasbro's names for the characters), but there are still some notable differences and inconsistent terminology: Joints are appropriately smooth, transformation is enjoyable, and everything tabs together well in alt mode. (As a side note, I’m surprised by how the simple act of flipping the wheels up on his shoulders in robot mode makes my brain do a happy.) Drag Strip participated in a savage all-out Decepticon offensive against the Autobots. With the Decepticons maintaining the advantage throughout the battle, Drag Strip was amongst those who approached a crippled Optimus Prime, ready to dispatch the Autobot leader. Before they could deliver the finishing blow, the Dinobots combined into The Beast, shifting the Decepticons’ priorities. Drag Strip then joined with the other Stunticons to form Menasor and do battle with The Beast. The Beast Within Mystery of Convoy strategy guide manga For further information, see: #Games

Released as part of the third wave of the Combiner Force Crash Combiners subline, Dragstrip is a roughly Scout-class sized figure that changes from his futuristic car into a robot in four extremely simple steps, sharing a transformation scheme with Sideswipe. His individual robot mode only has limited articulation in his shoulders, but he can also spread his legs for a more dramatic pose thanks to his combined form's transformation scheme. He also has a little green arrow above the connector on the front bumper indicating where to crash him to combine with other figures. A 5mm post hole on top of his vehicle mode can accommodate a compatible accessory or Weaponizer Minicon, though he cannot use it in his individual robot mode. Dragstrip can be stood up with or without his Combiner Legs flipped out. UNIVERSES COLLIDE: Universes continue to collide with Transformers: Legacy!
