Put the pork chops on a sheet pan, sprinkle the flour evenly over both, and toss the pork chops in the flour until well coated. On his show, he conveys his feelings beautifully with his expressions and words. My family and I wanted to see how that translated into book form and were very happy with what we saw here - Phil’s Phil-ness comes across perfectly and the recipes all sound wildly appealing and not difficult to make if you're confident in the kitchen.

The publisher actually only shared a sample (I believe the first third-ish of the book), but it was pretty easy to extrapolate from what I read. After a breezy introduction about Phil’s inspiration for the show, the book dedicates a chapter for each episode of the show so far. Read an excerpt below, and don't miss Dr. Jon LaPook's interview with Phil Rosenthal and Ray Romano on "CBS Sunday Morning" May 8! Somebody Feed Phil the Book captures everything wonderful about food and travel, showcasing not only the work of high-end chefs but also the food of the people. I can't wait to try the recipes that brought the author so much joy." Somebody Feed Phil the Book is an exploration into the spectacular culinary journey of the show. The only thing better than traveling with Phil is getting fed like Phil, and now you can do both!"Oh, well this is a book, it’s kind of a hybrid of sorts. It’s the companion book to the show, with my essays and writing about how the show got started and how we make the show, and a lot of behind-the-scenes photos that my brother, the producer, has taken on the road. And then it’s a fantastic cookbook because 60 of the most requested recipes from the audience, from the best chefs in the world that we’ve met, are in this book. It’s a big world out there, somebody’s got to eat it!” Rosenthal tells me over a Zoom call one unseasonably cold LA morning in February after returning from a recent trip to the UK to promote his new book, the perfectly titled Somebody Feed Phil The Book. Although the fish is ugly, mean looking with bulging eyes and a protruding jaw studded with razor sharp teeth and carries an alternate name such as, "Patagonian toothfish," it ranks as one of my top 3 tastiest fish eats ever. And I'm not the only one as the fish is coveted by many chefs around the world. It has a mild, rich, and buttery flavor with high oil and fat content which keeps its meat moist during cooking. This is the melt in your mouth type of stuff! Basically, you need to try it if you haven’t or eat it again if you have. Plus, it’s really hard to screw this one up!It was so much fun. And I’m on the road now around the United States too, because I’m trying to promote the book because proceeds from my share of the book are going to, iamals.org and ALS is what my mom passed away from, so this is a labor of love for me to go. And I have to be honest, I’ve been having such a good time meeting all the people. They’re so beautiful and great to me. Who wouldn’t love this? Classic. If you saw our Maine episode, there’s a place called the Palace Diner, which is in an old railroad car, and it’s just like this. All this comfort food that’s been idealized by great chefs without making it fancy. They just used amazing ingredients to elevate a tuna sandwich, a burger, an omelet, French toast, and pancakes. Just the best of those you ever had. And I realized, “Oh, this is my favorite thing in life, is this food.” PART II — The Recipe: Braciola all’Arturo Netflix Amazing people, the locals of the countries and states he and his crew visit, these all influence the incredible dishes of their particular country/state.
