The side characters were amazing as always . If it wasn't for Vale , we wouldn't have gotten this happy ending though Damiano pissed me off sometimes . I'm so excited for Ras and Gemma's book . I just know it's gonna hit me HARD . i can even imagine their banter . Omggg can't waiiiiit !!

Overall I enjoyed the writing style. The choices the author made early helped me move past stuff that would typically annoy me. She looks perfect, as always. Her hair is a sleek hazel bob that frames her oval face, and today she’s wearing the diamond earrings I’d gifted to her for her nineteenth birthday a few months ago. She has lush lashes, stunning gray eyes, and a body toned to perfection with the help of her five private Pilates classes a week. Unlike her, I’ve never been into fitness, so the few extra pounds I carry in my ass and hips are here to stay.

It was so much better than I expected. The story of Valentina & Damiano is beautiful, heartbreaking and exciting. The writing style is awesome! Valentina is a mafia princess on the run from her abusive husband and mafia family, when she runs into our Hero Damiano’s territory. She thinks he is a very protective business man. Both are keeping some secrets and when they get out..🥵 First of all , if you think the first book was good , this one is WAAAAAAAAAAAAY BETTER.I knew it from the start . Seriously grumpy x sunshine ALWAYS SLAPS . I’m also a big Jane Eyre fan, so the underlying storyline with Mari’s copy of the book was an amusing addition. this book was really intent on rah-rah-rah Girl Power… but it felt lopsided. The hero never got a chance to shine. He was emasculated at all times. He bowed to her on everything and wasn’t even capable of the stuff that was in his hands. I expect a little more intensity of personality with a mafia hero. He was pretty beta.He truly cares for his family and later for Valentina. I liked his character and the way he acts. He‘s a big bad guy, but has a big soft spot for Ale.
