About this deal

Use freshly ground beans if you can. Ground coffee is next best followed by the easy serve pods. Value For Money 7/10 It helps that you can use ESE pods or ground coffee which means you have two options – easy or easier. If you like good coffee but you are on a budget or this is your first venture into making your own espresso then the DeLonghi Scultura Pump Espresso Machine ECZ351W is a good place to start. The portafilter which holds the coffee comes with 3 different inserts. One for a double shot, one for a single and another really shallow one which at first glance looks like it is not good for anything as you would get hardly any ground coffee in there. Both these machines have the option, so you can choose just how easy you want your morning drink to be. Both Are Smaller Machines

By warming your mug beforehand, you can ensure you still have a piping cuppa by the time you add coffee and textured milk. Issues to Consider The crema is also a little watery and inconsistent for our liking, suggesting the pressure isn’t quite right. The 1.4 litre water tank is more than big enough and we would recommend only filling it halfway and keeping the water as fresh as possible.Despite the fairly basic functionality, this coffee machine does have a 15 bar pump which is the same pump you will find in a lot of Delonghi’s more expensive machines so it will deliver a good cup of coffee. Ease of use 10/10 This coffee machine is an average size measuring in at 30.5cm wide, 24.2cm deep and 38.2cm tall. Functionality 7/10 A steam arm is fitted for frothing milk and the temperature of both the water dispense and steam. This can be set at the touch of a button.

It certainly doesn’t come with a lot of the features of some of the other machines but you do of course have to pay for them. Small conveniences like the cup warmer (to pre-heat your cup), a larger drip tray, and speedy milk frothing make this machine hard to look past as a cost-effective beginner’s machine. The De’Longhi ECZ351 is a smaller machine that punches above its weight in many ways. Here’s everything you need to know about this machine. The De’Longhi Scultura is compact with a decent tank size for its size. Capacity These are great space-saving machines that are an excellent option for those with limited countertop space. But this machine isn’t for everyone – here are some of the cons to consider before coughing up the cash. Our De’Longhi Scultura Review found the machine was better for beginner at-home coffee makers. Inconsistent Espresso

The steam wand produces beautifully silky lattes and cappuccinos, so we recommend this machine to lovers of milkier coffees. Cup Warmer To get the best tasting coffee you should grind the coffee beans yourself just before brewing but if that sounds like too much hassle then you can buy pre-ground coffee. If that also sounds like too much hassle and a bit messy then easy serve espresso pods are the simplest and most convenient way to make a coffee with this machine.

The DeLonghi Scultura Espresso Machine is Delonghi’s entry-level model machines that should be considered by anyone currently drinking instant coffee looking for a higher quality coffee experience. The sheer number of options with the Scultura make it a great option for any home and any user. There really is no need for a kettle in the kitchen with the Scultura. It will reach temperature faster than most and can also be used with a plethora of brewing mediums. It’s all about the beans! The 15 bar pump will deliver the goods but it won’t taste very good if you don’t use good quality coffee. Coffee, on/off, and milk steaming – those are the only buttons you’ll need to press for good coffee. These machines are both made for those beginning their at-home coffee making. Speed and simplicity are the selling points for both of these beauties. The milk frothing is truly impressive, with a smooth bubble-less foam that makes a creamy cappuccino or latte. But since the Scultura is one of the cheapest coffee machines in De’Longhi’s collection, we can forgive that flaw.
