About this deal

With most headsets, you start to feel fatigued after a few hours of wear, but thanks to SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X’s design, you should last almost as long as its impressive 38-hour battery life. Similar to its predecessor, the Arctis 7X, this headset offers an adjustable ski-band headband and soft, breathable fabric memory foam earcups for cool, comfortable gameplay. The last thing left to be discussed is the stand. It features three USB ports where you can plug your mouse and keyboard, for example, but it has a very short cord. You won’t be able to use those extra USB ports if you can’t plug in the stand. Depending on how your rig is set up, you might have an issue getting the stand exactly where you want it. Now, if we were rating these headsets purely on cuteness, the Phontum would be near the bottom of the list. The pink color is nice enough, but this is a big, bulky headset. You can’t look cute with this headset on, and the smaller your head is, the sillier you are going to look. Besides that, the microphone is removable. The flexible holder works well enough, but it’s always handy to have a detachable mic. If you don’t really need the mic at all times, you can easily remove it. If you tend to play for longer periods of time, you will appreciate the comfort of the D99. The ear cups are big and comfortable to wear, even after a long session. Even better, the headset is lightweight enough that you won’t feel it weighing you down. It also helps that the headband is separate from the frame, so you are not supporting the full weight of the headset all the time.

Interface: Wireless, Wired | Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.1, Xbox Wireless, 3.5mm | Surround Sound: Dolby Atmos | Battery Life: Up to 12 hours | Weight: 282g

However, the microphone is not great. The real issue here is the microphone holder. It is a flexible arm, but if you move it around a lot, you will find it stops working well before long. If you do get this headset, we recommend setting your mic in the optimal position and leaving it there as much as you can. All of the headsets featured in our list have decent sound quality, but if you're looking for the absolute best, you'll want to go with high-end gaming headset. These headsets are more expensive than some of the budget options available, but they all offer excellent quality sound. Which Headset Is Best for Xbox Series X Games? Frequency Response: 12 – 28.000 Hz | Driver Size: 50 mm | Connection Type: Analog 3.5 mm | Microphone Frequency Response: 100 – 10.000 Hz | Weight: 322 g

If you have a tighter budget but don’t want to compromise on looks or audio quality, the PeohZarr D99 is an excellent option. However, there are some things you should keep in mind before pulling the trigger. Finally, we come to the last headset in this round-up. The Sades Mpower Angel Edition comes up short in just about every category worth considering. The look might be for you, but you might not appreciate the sound and microphone quality. Overall, it is a decent offering for the money. On top of that, you have little kawaii cat faces built into the outside of the earcups for maximum cuteness. If you are a streamer and you want something adorable to wear on camera, you can’t go wrong here. The G951s will look cute on just about anyone. Interface: Wireless | Connectivity: Xbox Wireless, Bluetooth 4.2 | Surround Sound: Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone:X | Battery life: Up to 15 hours | Weight: 312g

Colors

For a budget headset, the sound quality is not too bad on the G951s. You get some decent bass, so it should sound great if you are playing your favorite online shooter. Like a lot of lower-priced headphones, you will lose sound quality at higher levels. If you are an audio enthusiast that likes to play it loud, you might want to consider spending a little more. That being said, the quality is not bad for the price you are paying. Wireless headsets connect via Bluetooth ® or a USB-A receiver. Wireless headsets from Logitech offer all the features of their wired counterparts along with the freedom to get up, stretch, and move around while still using your headset. Use your wireless headset to take phone calls, join and initiate video meetings, and listen to music. Even without the cord, you can still adjust volume, mute calls, and make music selections. Simple on-ear controls make this possible. The added freedom is helpful not just for people who work in a busy office setting. It’s also useful for working at home. Working hands-free opens up the ability to make coffee, let the cat out, and perform any number of home or work-related tasks while staying on the line. The most appealing thing about the Mpower is probably the look of the headset itself, even though it is not all pink. Its primary color is white, but there is pink on the metal connectors as well as the ear cups. There are also cute little angel wings in pink on the outside of each earcup. If you prefer white over pink but still want a little extra cuteness, you will appreciate the design of this headset. When it’s all said and done, this headset is a real mixed bag. The look is great, but the ears and band are not comfortable. The audio quality is decent, but the microphone is fuzzy. The price is right, but it might not be right for everyone. Frequency Response: 20 – 20.000 Hz | Driver Size: 50 mm | Connection Type: 3.5 mm | Microphone Frequency Response: Not Specified by Manufacturer | Weight: 325 g

Just so you know, that’s not a typo in the product name. PlayStation names their headsets Silver for wired models and Gold for wireless. This one just so happens to also have gold in the name of the color.Since this is a wireless headset, let’s talk about the battery. You will be able to charge it via micro-USB, and the headset will only work wirelessly. That means if the Kraken BT is not charged, you won’t be able to use it at all. On a full charge, it offers around 20 hours of use with the lighting turned on and closer to 50 hours if you leave the lights off. Unfortunately, the built-in microphone is not very good quality either. It does retract, so that is useful for anyone who doesn’t intend to use the mic. At the same time, if you were looking for a headset with a built-in mic to use for streaming or team chats, you could do better than the Mpower. If you don’t plan to use the mic much, then this won’t be a problem. In addition to its cute design, this headset is also very comfortable to wear. The big earcups are similar to the wired Kraken model. Unlike the wired model, though, this headset has a looser fit. If you have a small head or if you move around a lot while you are gaming, this headset is likely to slip off. If you wear a hat or have a lot of hair, this shouldn’t be a big problem. At the same time, the ONIKUMA headset is modestly comfortable. The memory foam ear cushions are soft and comfy enough. The problem is with the band and the design of the headset. It pinches your head over time, so you may not find it comfortable with extended use. When you glimpse the feature-rich, quality-designed Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX, it’s easy to see why it’s our favorite wireless Xbox headset. 2.4GHz wireless means a pain-free connection to your Xbox Series X/S, and with the flip of a switch, it connects to other gaming consoles like the PS5 or Nintendo Switch. After pairing, you’ll enjoy lag-free, uninterrupted gameplay for up to 40 hours, thanks to impressive battery life, and you get Bluetooth support for your other devices.

There are a vast number of gaming headsets available these days, and it’s important you pay attention to specific specs to ensure you’re getting the best one for you and your Xbox Series X/S. Frequency Response: 20 – 20.000 Hz | Driver Size: 40 mm | Connection Type: 3.5 mm Splitter | Microphone Frequency Response: 100 – 10.000 Hz | Weight: 375 g Similar to the other budget headsets on this list, the Somic G951s offers some decent value to the girl gamer who can’t afford to spend a lot on a headset. Just like the ONIKUMA headset, this is a cute headset with decent enough audio quality to be included on this list. Overall, the quality of the components and the price of this model add up to great value. It’s not the cutest headset on this list, but if that’s okay for you, then there is a lot to like here. Good audio quality, long-lasting comfort, and a top-notch microphone make the Redragon H510 Zeus the best-value pink gaming headset on this list.On the other hand, there are a few issues that are worth mentioning. The cord features an inline control with volume and microphone mute, which are very touchy. If you regularly move around and have your headset cord rubbing against stuff, you will notice the volume jumping around as well. You may want to just leave the Kraken’s volume turned up all the way and control the in-app volume using your computer. In a similar sense, the retractable mic is decent enough. The noise-canceling did not seem to work, and the sound quality is noticeably fuzzy. It is nice having a mic that can retract into the headset, but if you need a mic for streaming or for long hours in team chat, this might not be the one for you. The PeohZarr D99 comes at a very affordable price, and it offers a reasonable amount for what you pay. However, if looks are less important, you might want to consider another headset with better-quality components. If you just want a cute headset that works well enough, this is a pretty good price point. In case it isn’t clear by now, the G951s is a budget headset. You will get decent value, but you might wish you had paid a little more. If you need something cute now without spending a lot, this headset is worth consideration. Besides that, it comes with a wind cover to help reduce ambient noise as well. If you spend a lot of time in team chat talking to other players, the H510 Zeus will work great. For gamers looking for a cheaper pink headset with a good microphone, the Zeus should be at the top of your list.
