About this deal

The seat of the Moodd stroller is pretty roomy. Worried that your child will not fit? Here’s the seat specifications: Maxi-Cosi has also developed a special range of color that matches perfectly with the colors of the collection of Quinny strollers. Looking For A Pram? In combination with the FamilyFix the CabrioFix and Pearl are a convenient solution from birth up to approx. 4 years The tyres are inflatable, making it really smooth to sit and and great to push. It comes with a pump which is stored in the basket.

We went for a Bugaboo (the Bee+) before Eliza was born – as it’s very small and light – and it’s been brilliant. We recently bought a Maclaren Volo to take on holiday, and have used it a lot as it’s even lighter and more portable than the Bee. Best possible IsoFix safety and ease of use with FamilyFix base unit, base alsoŒ suitable for Pearl toddler car seatIn combination with the FamilyFix, the CabrioFix can be put into 5 comfortable positions giving the newborn optimal comfort Turning circle is small, but the rear wheels are pretty wide at 26” so it could be cumbersome if you’re in a tight space. However, this wide base is also what gives the stroller great stability. When searching for the right to stroller to buy, parents need to remember that their own comfort are just as important as the child’s. The beautiful baby nest matches the red in the seat but is lined with a contrasting coral orange jersey which includes a zip-in head rest and foot bumper. The straps all thread through the holes in the bottom to keep your baby safe, plus the top can be completely zipped off for warmer days. Although it is very attractive, there is not enough side protection afforded by the pushchair for my liking, so personally, I would probably opt to buy the new collapsible carrycot that fits the Moodd. Can work as a 3-in-1 travel system, if you add the optional Carrycot and a separate Maxi-Cosi Infant Carrier.

The canopy size is decent but not the biggest in the market. It might not be big enough to shade your child from the morning or evening Sun, especially if you are living in a sunny climate. It would be ideal if Quinny had the option to convert to a floating canopy for full Sun coverage. The Moodd maneuverability is good. It’s pretty light and effortless to push on a smooth ground or if you have a smaller child onboard. However, if you have a child near the weight limit, you’ll definitely need both hands. The seat is padded and slightly curved round the sides which makes for a good head rest. Eliza finds it really comfortable (and the acid test; she fell asleep in it within about 10 minutes at The Baby Show) Our flat is up two flights of stairs, and as we don’t like to leave things downstairs overnight we need something that’s fairly portable Two easy one push release buttons removes the baby seat from any Maxi-Cosi or Quinny pram/pushchair or buggyQuinny is one of Europe’s most respected stroller brand, and is a trendsetter in terms of design and style. Over the years, they have introduced a series of strollers – Yezz, Moodd, Buzz Xtra and the Zapp Xtra.

What is nice about this Quinny stroller is that the pushbar is adjustable. The handle extends from 37” to 41” above the ground to accommodate the tallest and shortest of moms and dads. Simply press on the button in the middle of the handle bar to adjust the extension of the handle bar to your height so that you can stroll in comfort! If you are discounting this pushchair because it only has three wheels and you are a four-wheeler sort of gal, then don't despair as the Moodd will change to suit yours. The front wheel unit listed in the accessories is the alternative two-wheel front fork, instead of the single wheel that comes supplied as standard. Conclusion All round suspension on the Moodd creates a smooth ride for you and your baby and the front swivel wheel makes the pram super manoeuvrable even on the busiest streets. The handle bar is adjustable for the tallest or shortest of parents and the basket is large enough to carry any essentials. The Quinny Moodd is a single, reversible 3-wheeler pram with a maximum capacity to carry a baby or toddler up to 17kg. Basket is pretty much useless you can hardly put anything in it and when you do it pushes the weight of the item all the way (from hitting that front wheel) and hits that wheel which makes the swooshing sound and makes the basket dusty and dirty.

Update: Quinny Moodd has collaborated with award-winning fashion designer, Rachel Zoe, to create the Rachel Zoe Jet Set Quinny Moodd Special Edition. From 6 months old, your growing baby can move into the reversible seat unit and a multi position recline is perfect for your little one to the afternoon nap. The harness can be adjusted as they grow and the sturdy footrest offers support at every age.The Quinny Moodd is majestic stroller featuring a distinctive design. The chassis of the Moodd is similar to the inferior Buzz - three-wheeled and quite wide. It automatically unfolds itself thanks to the hydraulic mechanism. The front double wheel is easily maneuverable and can also be replaced with an optional axle with two single wheels, creating a Quinny Moodd 4 variation. Rear wheels are large and foam-filled. For newborns, I would highly recommend using the Quinny Tukk Foldable Carrier to transform the Moodd into a safe, warm and comfy pram that allows the baby to lie totally flat. The shoulder pads are well-cushioned to ensure comfort, but may seem a little bulky for the smaller babies. The 2015 Moodd model now has the harness padding color coded to match the rest of the stroller.
