About this deal

Here at OLPRO we are able to provide awnings for VW Transporters for all types of models. Our extensive range of VW van awnings covers the most popular modern-era vans such as the Transporter T4, T5 and T6 as well as the classic split screen and T25 vans. It’s a Peugeot 3008 2013 right? Then it’s height should be 1.64 meters: https://www.automobiledimension.com/photos/peugeot-3008-2013.jpg The awnings are based off a vehicle height of 190 cm to 250 cm, if your van has a similar height to the figure above but isn't mentioned - it's likely that the awning will fit. Do you Sell VW Caddy Awnings? Whatever your requirements we have an awning for your VW Transporter, whether you’re looking for a little extra storage or a whole bedroom we have you covered.

The magnetic rear awning provides protection from the rain in inclement weather and also provides shade to the bedding area in hot summer weather. But how would this fair on the smaller vans like the Ford Transit Connect, Fiat Diablo, Volkswagen Caddy, Nissan NV200 and Citreon Berlingo. Well the Nissan NV200 sat almost perfectly into this tunnel section allowing for full access to the passenger side door and sliding side door without any restrictions. The tunnel sat neatly and securely on top of the van roof forming a good weather seal and allowing for good pegging out. The Front of the tunnel section did make for the front guyline to pitch over the front window of the van and, like the first awning we tested would need an anti friction sleeve over the guyline to stop any paintwork damage. I was certainly impressed with both the fit and the weather seal of this awning. Yes this is an over sized product for most casual users, but to be honest this awning would be a brilliant addition for serious touring campers. The Kampa Travel Pod Maxi offers a large footprint living area with ample features and comes complete with a clip in bedroom which makes the perfect place to get you head down. Quality & Price: Many found the tent to be of good quality, especially considering its price point. It’s also highlighted to be waterproof during heavy rain. However, some users faced issues with its design; for instance, a user pointed out that during rain, one has to close the windows due to the design of the fly mesh and rolling tarp. Another user mentioned that in strong winds, the tent might not hold up very well.Me too! But in fact twin rear doors have loads of advantages. Just occasionally it would be great to have the tailgate to shelter from the rain and sun. That's why we invented the 90-second Barn Door Awning. Are you a biker and/or do you want a mobile workshop? Then we would like to recommend the Vanshower rear tent Worker. Van Awning One was designed to work in harmony with the both the SWB and LWB VW Transporter platform first and foremost however, it works with both SWB and LWB vans along with vans with Spoilers too. Last up for this test was the large Kampa Travel Pod Maxi. With an impressive 510cm x 300cm footprint, the Pod Maxi really is an impressive looking awning. But would it be suitable for small format vans like the Nissan NV200? Cleverly Kampa have made the tunnel section a shade under 3m wide. This makes it a simple fit for the side of VW Transporters, Volkswagen T4, T25 and T5 van types. Ventilation and Rain: One user pointed out that the tent design could be improved for rainy weather. They mentioned that the rainfly is inside the tent, making it necessary to close the windows during rain. This may affect ventilation.

The rear tent Tuffi 2. is also a self-standing tent, which was designed for the VW T5, T4, T6 and similar vehicles. The Tuffi 2 has its own tent frame, so it is also free-standing. Ergo, the camper van can also be moved away. The rear tent Tuffi is completely closable and can be used without a vehicle connection as a bicycle garage, storage tent, additional sleeping tent and much more. Being tied down to your pitch can be frustrating. Having a driveaway awning kit for your VW camper solves this problem, allowing you to leave your awning freestanding so you can come and go as you please. Drive away tailgate awnings are a practical living space extension for your van or mini camper. The universal tailgate tents always fit, whether for your off-road vehicle, SUV, minicamper or van. The epitome of the universal rear tent is the UNI VAN. It has an extra long sluice and can therefore be connected weatherproof to almost all vehicles from minicamper, SUV to panel van. The optimal combination is an UNI VAN in combination with a car roof tent. This way you create a dry sleeping place far away from most "crawlers" and a comfortable lounge even for the more uncomfortable days. The UNI VAN is freestanding, which means for you: nothing stands in the way of a flexible camping holiday even with a smaller vehicle. Smaller day vans are by far and away the fastest growing sector we have seen here at www.a2zcamping.co.uk. Many of our customers old and new have asked us for details on awnings suitable for the smaller vehicles more commonly used by tradesmen but becoming a popular option for dog show enthusiast, fishermen, sporting weekends and festival goers. Smaller vans like the Ford Transit Connect, Fiat Diablo, Volkswagen Caddy, Nissan NV200 and Citreon Berlingo have seen a huge increase in self builds and van conversions ideally suited to day van and touring adventures. Our range of awnings covers all transporters from the classic split screen vans through to the latest T6 model. Whatever van you have, we’ll have an awning to fit. What Vehicle Height are the Awnings Based off? Then you shouldn’t have a problem as I’m using it with my Sharan, which is 1.72m: https://www.automobiledimension.com/photos/volkswagen-sharan-2015.jpg

Yes, the 2021 Berlingo Multispace is around 186cm tall, compared to my Sharan 172cm, but you can see that people have used it with a Caddy Life here (about 180cm): https://nimblecamper.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/arpenaz-base-m-caddy-life2.webp and judging by the rear lights, a newer Berlingo too: https://nimblecamper.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/arpenaz-base-m-car-camping-berlingo3.webp and an NV200 (186cm) here: https://nimblecamper.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/arpenaz-base-m-mpv2.webp.Worst case scenario, you can always use it like this: https://nimblecamper.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/arpenaz-base-m-camper-alternative-tailgate-fit.webp– regardless of the car height.

But as you can see here, my car is taller than yours and it fits nicely: https://nimblecamper.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/sharan-arpenaz-base-m2.webp + the tent is taller than the actual tent opening, so enough room for the tailgate. The rear tent Vertic Vertic for Caddy, Kanggoo and other minicampers is similar in dimensions, but it is attached with straps under the rear flap. The built-in window film in the upper part of the rear flap tent coincides with the rear window and ensures optimum lighting conditions. Velcro fastenings seal the gaps between the tent and the tailgate so well that the rear tent can withstand even bad weather conditions. Please let me know if you have found this article useful or if you have any further questions. We hope to be testing out a few more awnings on the Nissan NV200 over the coming months - so if you have a specific request please drop us a line. Enjoy!
