The girls make way to Samara, which is rife with troubles. Masema - who has named himself the prophet and taken over the city with zealous followers of the dragon reborn - and the Whitecloaks who have entered the town are on the brink of war. Siuan/Leanne/Min/Logain arrive in Lugard. Siuan goes to an inn who's keeper is a blue spy. She gives the code word, asking for a job, and getting mad when the innkeeper asks to see her legs. She hears the clue - Sallie Daera. Demandred watches Elayne visit her thron room in t'a'r and laughs "let the lord of chaos rule" 8. The Storm Gathers Faile sits and hears petitions in the Two Rivers. She wishes Perrin was there. He arrives and tells her that Rand needs him.Perrin walks in on Moirane, then goes to free Gaul from his cage. He and Gaul kill some whitecloaks, Gaul escapes and Lan is mad that Perrin caused a fuss. 35. The Falcon

Some hope was given for fans of the novels as his wife and publisher had worked with him the weeks before his death getting down almost everything about the final book on notes so that it may be finished by another author.
