About this deal

A tower-like area with segments that spin at intervals, where Mario must capture a Pokio and use it to scale the tower's walls to reach the Power Moon at the top. Below the tower is a key Mario can use to make a second Power Moon appear. Mario must defeat the nearby Stairface Ogre to open the gate leading to this area. A new Bowser's Castle course has appeared in every Mario Kart game to date. It is one of three settings with this property, alongside Mario Circuit and Rainbow Road. Unlike them, this even extends to titles outside the main series. Super Mario Kart introduces three Bowser's Castles, while Mario Kart: Super Circuit introduces four. While Mario Kart Tour does not introduce a fully unique Bowser's Castle course, it does feature RMX Bowser's Castle 1, a remix course based on Super Circuit's versions, particularly GBA Bowser's Castle 1. Return to the red carpet and follow it to the right to return to Kamek. Kamek mysteriously disappears after clearing the rubble. Fix the three Not-Bottomless Holes in this section of the room. Not-Bottomless Hole#11 is on the wall/painting. Not-Bottomless Hole#12 is very small and is on the right side of the broken column in the foreground. Not-Bottomless Hole#13 is on the floor just next to the doorway. After fixing all the holes, use the doorway on the right. Mario Circuit 1 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Donut Plains 1 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Ghost Valley 1 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Mario Circuit 2 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Choco Island 1 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Ghost Valley 2 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Donut Plains 2 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Mario Circuit 3 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Choco Island 2 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Vanilla Lake 1 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Bowser Castle 3 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Donut Plains 3 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Koopa Troopa Beach 2 (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) • Vanilla Lake 2 (R, T, R/T) • ( tour appearances) • Rainbow Road (R, T, R/T) ( tour appearances) The only way to cross the lava is to have somebody carry us. If we could find a way to cool the lava off, we could probably walk on it, though. And if we have to pass through lava flows, we can have Bow hide us from danger.

NOTE: Some collectibles are found in areas that are inaccessible until returning later; these entries are highlighted in beige.

Bowser's Castle as it appears in Super Mario 3D World. Main article: World Castle Main article: The Great Tower of Bowser Land A large portion of Mario's Figure Skating Spectacular in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games features a layout inspired by Bowser's Castle based on its appearance in Super Mario 3D Land. This course starts off on a separate platform with a ramp to glide into Bowser's Castle. There are two entrances, an upper level and a lower level if the upper level is missed while gliding. The two levels have a set of stairs with Thwomps and inclining slopes that lead into one room filled with lava pools and sharp turns. Past that room is a wide wooden Turning Floor that leads to a lake filled with water, with some pipes pouring lava and lava-filled edges. Afterward, racers return to land along a cliff side, passing by lava waterfalls as the racers drive. At the end of the outdoor section is a sharp wide turn that ends with a Glide Ramp leading to the finish line, with a giant ring in the air suspended over the one on the ground highlighting this. The ramp allows for side paths to be taken on laps 2 and 3, which split into two to allow both levels of the castle to be reached. 3DS Bowser's Castle is the only Bowser's Castle course in the Mario Kart series with an underwater section. Many ornaments strewn throughout the kingdom, such as the nobori and the chōchin, contain the kanji 寿 ( kotobuki), which means "long life". Some chōchin additionally contain the compound 空覇 (can also be read as kuppa, Bowser's Japanese name), literally meaning "celestial supremacy". Put together, the kanji translates as "Long live King Bowser!"On Top of the Spinning Tower: From the Beneath the Keep warp point, face southwest so you’re facing the structure that is lined with yellow spikes. In the center of that, you’ll notice a gap in the spikes and directly ahead of it, golden rings you can jump through. Falling through the rings, you’ll be at an area with a poison swamp and an Ogre. Kill the Ogre, which will open a massive doorway nearby. Enter the door to get into this puzzle room. Once inside, you’ll find a Pokio which you’ll use to climb this rotating tower. On top of the tower is a power moon. Read below about how you can get moon 34 in the same run. GBA Battle Course 1 ( tour appearances) • GCN Cookie Land ( tour appearances) • DS Twilight House ( tour appearances) Underground Jizo: If you already captured the Jizo from the moon above, walk east in the area you’re in to find some ground you can break with the Jizo statue. Fall through and find yet another spot for Mario to stand in to get a moon. It's a room without a window. It also has a chandelier with no lights in it. I'm getting the feeling that Bowser is really going for the dark, gothic look in here. Maybe he hates bright lights.
