About this deal

The other players select amongst their 6 images the one that best matches the sentence made up by the storyteller. Just like the tokens, each of the scoreboard colors corresponds with a bunny color. One downside we found about the Dixit voting boards is that most of the colors look the same, therefore it’s really hard to tell them apart. Regular Version Dixit Jinx is a spin-off with a similar gameplay mechanic of describing cards in a tableau, published in 2012. [28] However, Jinx uses a streamlined set of equipment and more abstract images. It was designed by Josep M. Allué and illustrated by Dominique Ehrhard. [29] Play has been described as a cross between Dixit and Jungle Speed. [30] There are currently eleven different Dixit-related expansions and products. And if Dixit has one clear influence it’s Star Wars, because the naming conventions are horrendous. To make it easier here’s a breakdown of all the released products so far. Dixit All of these cards are shuffled together and placed on the table. Then everyone tries to guess which is the storyteller’s card.

Each player, except the storyteller, scores one point for each vote that was placed on his or her image. The storyteller then shuffles the image cards received and reveals them randomly in the spaces numbered 1 to 12 on the scoreboard.

It wasn’t the first board game that I ever played, but it definitely started my passion for board games. I immediately decided to buy it and I started introducing it to all my friends. My favourite moment so far, was when someone used the clue ‘Jake Gylenhaal’ when playing their card. Being in the possession of some sort of rabbit/human hybrid beast of a card, gave me a fantastic opportunity. Of course, they could have been referencing anything about Jake Gylenhaal, but to my delight, I had assumed correctly, as they had indeed also chosen a card with some sort of rabbit creature in a reference to the film Donnie Darko. Knowing which of the creepy rabbit cards was mine, gave me a very satisfying opportunity for point scoring. If all players find the storyteller's image, or if no player finds it, the storyteller scores no points and the other players each score 2 points. Otkrijte u koje svetove i gde vas sve vaša mašta, ali i mašta vaše dece i vaših prijatelja može odvesti ?????‍♂️???????‍❤️‍??‍♀️?‍♂️????⛰??? The 2 players of each team then agree as to which of them will hand an image to the storyteller (the 2 teammates can talk, but always in the pre- sence of the other players and must never show or describe the image cards they have in hand).Accommodates 3–12 players. Features updated artwork; illustrations by Pierre Lechevalier (Pierô), with color by Cardouat. Each player then counts the number of unit squares in his/her remaining pieces (1 unit square = -1 point).

Each player other than the storyteller scores 1 bonus point for each vote earned by his or her image (to a maximum of 3 bonus points). Unfold and place the scoreboard in the middle of the table. Each player chooses a voting board and then places the rabbit of the corresponding color on the 0 space of the scoreboard. The 84 image cards are shuffled and 5 are dealt to each player.

Example: Tom has voted for image number 3 as have 5 other players. Tom would normally score 6 points, but since the maximum number of points scored is limited to 5, he'll only score 5, the maximum, this turn. Chris though, has voted with Amanda for image number 2. Unfortunately, that image was chosen by the storyteller with the red vote token, so they score no points. Kate has voted for an image which got no votes other than her own. She therefore scores no points. As for differences, there’s actually very few, with most of the game playing the same way as it does as the 4-6 player count, with each player getting two voting tokens each this time and a slight difference in how scoring is done. Another new artist joins the franchise in Dixit: Harmonies. The French illustrator, Paul Echegoyen, whose work is both beautiful and beguiling heads up this 84-card expansion. Notable for the influences from different fairy tales throughout the cards. Dixit: Anniversary
