Is there any point having a magnetic filter if there is sludge already in the system? I would assume that at some point inhibitor has been put in system -doesn't this do same job? Should more be added periodically ?I wrote to Adey (manufacturers), providing photo's of the failure and received NO reply whatsoever. I hadn't registered it when I bought from plumbworld.
