Complete with bar stools, this bar table set nestles beautifully into kitchens of all sizes but works particularly well for those with a small kitchen footprint, or a combined living-dining area.
We pivoted the brand & created "Bars with Benefits" (a cheeky take on friends with benefits). All our bars now have functional benefits,The bar stools also feature a built-in footrest to keep you feeling supported and comfortable whilst sitting at this breakfast bar. Along Minneapolis’ University Avenue just north of downtown, a stretch of dive bars conveniently dot an otherwise residential neighborhood, creating a concentration of destination dives uncommon in a city the size of Minneapolis. Jimmy’s Bar & Lounge makes a case for king Minneapolis dive bar of that area, on the surface little more than a rectangle of a building but inside creates such an old-school, no nonsense vibe that it’s easy to see decades of drinkers stopping in for a beer on the way home. The width of this table has been carefully designed to allow enough room for plates, laptops, and magazines, so you can utilise this table and bar stools set as an all in one dining space and desk area. This compact size makes for a great alternative to a traditional kitchen table.
Even at the late hour of this reviewer’s last visit, the vibe was conversational, certainly a no-nonsense environment that still allowed for an outsider like myself to jump into a conversation at the bar. Between breaking up a disagreement here or there, the bartender was entirely friendly, open to the kind of idle chit chat befitting a dive bar as classic as Jimmy’s. About the only piece of bar décor that could be fairly described as “modern” happens to be the jukebox that on this night was fittingly cranking out vintage hits. They added the closure would not affect the business' long-established Manchester branch on Blossom Street, Ancoats.

We had an incredible first six months when we launched the venue in August 2019 just before COVID, but it’s been an uphill battle since then to keep things going amongst everything that has been happening in the world and particularly the hospitality sector. It would be great to give Jimmy’s Liverpool the send off it deserves so if you’re in the area please pop in for a pint and a farewell, see a gig, grab a burger and enjoy it one final time." It was a risky move but we saw the trend that people started eating for a specific purpose and we wanted to be the leaders in "Functional Food".
