Enjoy Tanqueray Rangpur Distilled Gin with ice, tonic water and two slices of lime to bring about the refreshing taste While you could mix up a Martini or Negroni with it, I feel like it isn’t Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla’s best showing. It is a bold mixing gin that is designed to be center stage with not much fussiness to it. Overall, Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Finish: Only slightly dry with sour citrus remaining dominant, although above a spice-led accord that feels distinctively Tanqueray like. Nose: Lime dominates the fore— and although the rangpur is not a lime, the nose is decidedly lime-like. Juniper and a hint of traditional Tanqueray licorice and spice lie beneath. Quite nice. These botanicals are carefully selected and distilled to create a gin that is both complex and balanced.

Tanqueray is a brand of gin produced by Diageo plc. It originated in London. While it does not command a sizable market share in its native market, its largest market is the United States.Tanqueray Rangpur is best enjoyed in a copa glass with premium tonic water, plenty of ice and a generous wedge of lime. Bartenders would be advised to treat Tanqueray Rangpur Lime Gin as a specialty citrus-forward gin. Mixed, its citrus profile complements fresh citrus quite well. Try it in a Gimlet, Tom Collins or an Evans style Gin and Tonic.

Flavor: Moderate to full body with vibrant bitter orange peel early (think Marmalade, but a touch less sweet). Becomes more dry as it sits on palate. Pine-note juniper and earthy licorice root lend some classic gin color towards the end.

Orange in color, Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla’s 2018 orange flavored gin release was right on trend.
